for a second i was impressed with how good it looked, then i realised it's the og game that somehow looks amazing still

And I thought I was the only weirdo who thinks that UG1 looks decent even today. Yeah, the textures and the lightning aged, but there are games from that era that look worse (like MC2).

@@alexcostea1455 nfs was always kind of at the tops of its game graphics wise tbh, i think going through history, any year that a big budget racing game came out, it was probably the best in terms of photorealism that year

Imagine being a kid with a top end XP or 98 pc back then. 1280 to 1900 res while everyone else is staring at a pixelated mess. I think the most close I've ever come to that status was with my 1070oc in 2019. Was so over kill I sold it for more than I paid during the chip shortage now on a 780 xD.

well it looks worse than before, added some tasteless post processing, over saturate everything, asphalt looks like wet glass even so sky show no signs of rain, to much bloom. just a some criticisms, try not to over saturate things and night should look like a night, imagine how ppl sleep there

What I realize is that EA will never make a NFS like U2 with the posters and so on because back then that was trending but now it’s not so they have to get with what everybody is doing and that is wide body everything and engine swap vehicles

I get nfs heat vibes with that 2nd reshade mod. Great job with this mod

Great work sure a lot of effort went into this but the streets looked way more rustic and gave a sense of immersion on the original. The remastered one looks way too clean and arcade-ish. The buildings also look over polished. The details on the cars tho👌🏼👌🏼

that blue S2000 reminded me of the early magazines with juiced 2 photos

Useless becouse the game keeps crashing on next or save...Im now on 11/113 and kick me out of the game every time i press next on tournament (second race) in the end. No one solve this yet, yah it was for Win Xp so :/ Love this game btw.

It looks too colorful. Night time driving doesn't look that vibrant no matter what. The original was even closer to how it is in real life. The building looks like they were pulled out of a synthwave album art.
