Wrong info. Google allows till Pixel 4 to access unlimited storage in 6 series or coming 7 series you have to make another Id for another 15 gb

To install custom roms it's not necessary to root the device, just the bootloader needs to be unlocked

@The Decaocto World Use the free up space to remove the already backed up photos from your device locally. Now sign in to your new account and turn on backup. Only the new photos from that point will get backed up in the new account.

Root is not necessary for custom rom installation. Just unlock bootloader flash custom recovery then flash custom rom through it if available for your device. I currently running ricedroid Rom and have unlimited photos storage

Transfer photos from your new phone to your old pixel and unload to Google photos from that pixel. It's unlimited.

Yes i do that all the time, i click in my DSLR, connect the pixel phone to my PC, and dump all photos of my DSLR into my Pixel's storage/camera/DCIM. and just leave the pixel connected to wifi for sometime and everything gets uploaded in original quality. I use the same google account on my primary phone and turn-off autoback up option. but still see all photos from my google photos. works like charm

How come I purchase second hand pixel phone and use it as secondary phone. Then transfer all my photos from my primary phone (like OnePlus ) to pixel phone. So now pixel phone will upload all pics using unlimited storage policy. And same Gmail I.d i will use on my primary phone to views photos. Everytime when primary phone 128 gb storage will be full then same process of transferring can perform...

What I've decided to do is use multiple Google accounts. I checked and Google doesn't say it's against their Terms of Service to upload photos to different accounts. So please consider it! Create more Google accounts and you can get another free 15GB that way

Actually you can’t share the storage. He is asking to share the album from google photos, so that it will be visible on your second account but will take space from first account as it’s uploaded on the first one only.
