I hate to be that person (or do I?) But they could also add some creamy mayo just to completely fuck with them/be a complete troll/a-hole (and retroactively get fired... and worse of course.) Fairly certain most folk know 'bout the Mayo I'm talkin' bout. Usually made by the dude with the big beefy arm 😂😂😂 Giggity 😉

This was my favourite shift working at Mcdonalds, everyone in kitchen was confused but kept making these orders anyway. Managers had to remove hamburgers from the kiosk until glitch was fixed.

One time the McDonalds app malfunctioned and was giving me free apple pies. It was supposed to be 2 for $1 but it ended up being 2 for free. I ordered 40 (20x2) since that was the limit. When I picked them up they were all freaking out wondering how I got them for free.

@@dotanon I've used those machines before. You get the option to pay for your order at the counter or by card, so I imagine that screen may also show up if you select to pay at the counter. Not sure though, never tried it.

I once used a similar trick on a regular vending machine at my University, which allows me to pick sandwichs and snacks for almost nothing and I went straight to the machine everyday to get food for almost two weeks when they finally fix the error hahaha.

@Rintaro Okabe First off, you don't know where this person is from, so you have no idea of the economic situation this person was in, secondly, even in rich developed nations being homeless temporarily can happen to anyone, thirdly, even if the person was a criminal they'd would have already served and now is their chance to reenter society, so they should be treated as humans, like we all should be.

I like how they actually have a screen for when you don't need to pay for the food like they knew what they did and they just waited patiently for somebody to discover it

That is because of the fidelity rewards. Some countries have it so you collect points from money purchases, and then you trade said points for free food. Hence this screen being built in; just so happens that the code logic behind it is probably a switch or if then where the criteria is subtotal = 0$

IIRC you can also order condiment packets for free on it as well, and also the possibility of a free item promotion, so that is probably why the developers made that screen.
