Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here's a bit of the flying from the Glastonbury Modelers Fall Fly-In held on September 17, 2023, at the Durham Fairgrounds, Durham, Connecticut. The contest had a variety of Flying Aces events including rubber scale, towline glider, and WWII Mass Launch. The weather was fantastic with light winds for the majority of the day with lots of flying and some impressive flights. Thanks for watching!

Lots of wonderful planes and a huge amount of aeromodeling expertise packed into this short film. One of the nice things about these genres is that they make people seek out the less well known marques to model for scale. The countryside is beautiful! Not dissimilar to that around Durham England in fact, where I know from experience that they also have hay bails to crash into. Also cows, which have been known to take a dump DIRECTLY onto one's small rubber powered Morane Saulnier Type N, which one spent the whole Xmas holiday researching, designing and building.. The path isn't always straightforward, but films like this show that it's all worth it! Congratulations to all involved. ⭐👍

Outstanding. The average person wouldn't realise the knowledge of aerodynamics and trimming it takes to achieve these fine flights.

If I were to get back into building I'd use a non-toxic glue. No CA. I might use good old Elmers or even hide glue.

It would be great to see close up photos of the models, like the Mig-3, for all of the models, before they launch.

Leonard, Yes, I understand your comment but realize I was flying in six events at this contest so being able to take all that footage becomes a time problem. The other contestants are also sometimes in a hurry to launch. I try and walk around with my camera even when I fly but really this video was done in a pretty amateur, casual manner. I'll see what I can do next time. Some of my models flying in this video have their own build and fly videos on my channel. Thanks for watching.

Nice! The club has been flying at the Fairgrounds for many years. Really a bit small for free flight flying but we're used to it, and it's become our Meca. Thanks for watching.

SP-AKO WK-3, 1933 Amateur training plane POLAND He made his first flight on June 28, 1933. The piloting properties of the plane were correct. The plane for the first tests was powered by an Anzani 70 HP engine, with which 11 flights were made. The plane was to be equipped with a Cirrus "Hermes" engine with a power of 87.5 kW (119 HP), but a Polish PZInż PS-II engine was installed. The flight of the WK-3 with the PS-II engine took place on December 2, 1933. In 1934, the plane underwent tests at IBTL. The plane was approved for aerobatics. WK-3 was late for the competition for a training aircraft, but the RWD-8 aircraft won the competition.

Nice, yes would love to see it. There was a woman on a tractor working to pick them up all day. She'd back the tractor up to the bale and poke a tool off the back to lift the bale and bring it over to a truck to load. She felt bad to have to do it during the contest, but it was never an issue. Thanks for viewing!

This is simply amazing. Thank you for the chance to see the Earl Stahl Mig 3 model. I would love to see more footage of that plane. I believe I have read one article where Earl Stahl himself called this model one of his best flyers in this category.

@@Beykus_cz Thank you. Yes, it's a very good flyer. Mine was built from the Easy Built kit but I carved the prop that Stahl shows on his plan. I think that's a major performance advantage with this model. This model is several years old now and was built before I started doing build videos. I'll try and get more flight footage when I'm out at the field again. Thanks for watching.
