I just wanted to add, its a really good way to figure out if full body tracking is even for you, not everyone wants to have every tiny movement seen by all players and Viso gives you a good way to see if you like FBT before you spend hundreds on trackers and bass stations (and maybe even better PC assets)

also to add, if you are like spazzing out, jigging a lot, I take off both knees and it is so much smoother and dont forget, lighting is important

I tried this one out, and for some reason my phone's camera is really laggy, something like 10 - 15FPS which is practically unusable, but it is fun to play around with and to experiment! I will definitely be looking more into this to try and find a decent solution for my setup, only until I can get FBT xD Thank you for sharing this with us! Some of us just need to tweak our setup a bit to get it working reasonably

10-15 fps is expected for a phone running a full body tracking algorithm. It’s honestly amazing it can even do it.

i tried this on both android and ios, on android the camera run at like 15 fps while on ios its smooth, so it might just be that the app doesnt work as well on android

for me, for some reason it would not give me knee tracking points ingame (with this i mean they literally were nonexistant. i had ellbows, feet middle of torso and hip... that's it. no knees tho), and ran at like 20fps basically, so pretty much unusable. other than that, pretty neat

It may be your Wi-Fi connection, you need to use the same Wi-Fi for both phone and VR

@@K1llerSans I know, and i did. and why would it only not work with specifically the knee trackers? And my pc is hooked up to the router i connected to via ethernet. it's a nice project, but in no means replacing any sort of physical tracking system...

Bro, for the majority of people this is EXACTLY what they expected when someone tells them Full body tracking: it doesn't require a ridiculous set up, you don't need a billion dollar headset to see your hands the only way this could be improved further is to have those straps but unfortunately that's a premium I'm thinking of just making use of my PSVR(1) headset and finding a vr controller for the set up. But thanks I got tired of all these $$$ products.

This seems great! I was looking for an alternative for driver4vr that was free. Will give this a try!

it works pretty well, better than driver4vr since its free fbt, whilst driver4vr has waist tracking free only. I would reccomend giving it a go. @@ScatterSocks

This actually helped so much

I was barely able to get it to work, camera was laggy for some reason wasn't able to correctly calibrate it, and it couldn't track my feet, just my knees, still... was able to get a little bit of a peek of FBT, and it made me smile, someday I'll have the money to buy something like slimevr without leaving my fridge empty

Been using this since like early 2023 and it’s always been so great for what it’s for! It’s a lot better than whatever scam pinoquest was lol

This could be pretty helpful since I can't afford trackers I know it's pretty much VRChat only but I wonder if it or something similar could be used stuff like making fullbody animations or something. I don't know much & I'm just looking around for VRChat & stuff to help with programs that work with VRM models or something

Thank you for this video ive been wanting to see if there was a way for me to have a somewhat working full body tracking option and I will definitely try it out, knowing it is still a work in progress and will not work as well as something like vive trackers or slime vr trackers.

Can you use multiple cameras on this? I feel like that would add a lot more accuracy to it for those that have multiple camera options

Small tip for good traking wear a long sleeve shirt and a tanktop over it and maybe short pants

I have this app and to be honest, its actually good! It will be glitchy and ur arm may be messed up but its really good

What I want to know is when or if someone will use two phones for this purpose at the same time. That should improve tracking results as well as make things way more reliable!

Is pretty great but I cannot get the legs to track for the life of me. Apart from that I love it!

For some reason I turn on the osc and it would give the the full body tracking option on the launch pad. I went to see their video and just bluntly said "just go check the other steps" like what do I actually need to do? That doesn't nessiserly help.

NEW SETTING (well not new but..) When you hit connect, go to settings on the right, and a the bottom, you will see motion moothing. turn that off. It works for dancing and.. EVERYTHING!!

doesnt work for me. Just has me stuck in a t-pose by default? I lost my left controller so maybe thats the problem. Also, all that shows is like a 2 white dots and I also enabled the tracking thing

try going to the settings cog on the small menu and scroll till you see FBT there will be a option to turn FBT on and off, it might be off in your settings. if not your app may not be set up correctly or your phone doesnt support it

My one complaint with this is how quickly it eats the phone battery. Other than that, it's decent

I imagine the tracking quality isn't nearly as good as pino fbt (another camera based fbt) because they're doing it free so if you have a spare $20 laying around you can have a better option that is frequently updated as the devs have the resources to enhance the experience Yes, it functions well with pc too and if you have a newer Iphone or Android you can run the fps boost for a much smoother tracking experience (It drains your battery though)

I see a lot of people shitting on this free fbt app but i don't think they get the concept that this isn't meant to be a long term solution it's more or less for ppl that want to try fbt to see if its something they really want. This app has officially made me want to get slime trackers bc of better tracking and before ppl start shitting on slime too, all i need is reliable mostly accurate fbt and slime does that perfectly for a fraction of the price of what it would cost to get vive trackers. Plus slime trackers can be used anywhere without having to drag around 1-2 base stations along with the trackers.

Mine won’t track the legs right, keeps making them go behind me when I move them at all

How do you make a full body tracking better?

Tried it out and it does not work for me, ill be facing my phone, raise my right leg, and both legs will go up on vrchat, could be because my camera is under the phone screen its a little blurry or because i have very limited space to play in
