This is my acoustic cover of Free Fallin' by Tom Petty (John Mayer did a great cover too). This song reminds me of such a great experience about fifteen years ago. I used to play music at this tiny little bar in Brisbane city, filled with people in suits on their way home from work. I would play for a few hours and it never really seemed like anyone was listening or enjoyed the music; it honestly sort of took the enjoyment out of playing. One night after one of these gigs I was walking home through the train station and came across a group of buskers playing classic cover songs on acoustic guitars... After almost walking past I decided to ask them if I could join them. We ended up playing this song together, and jammed on it for about twenty minutes. We got heaps of tips and the people walking past really seemed to be enjoying it. I think it reminded me that the most enjoyable moments playing music are often those that are completely spontaneous, rather than the times when music feels like a "job". I hope you enjoy the song!
