Free English Class! Topic: Describing Things Part 3: Verbs! 🏁📻📡 (Lesson Only)
In this free English class I'm going to help you learn verbs that we use to describe things. I'll help you learn English vocabulary and phrases that you can use when you have an English conversation and want to talk about the things around you.
The earth is full of things! Some are natural, and some are man-made. As you learn English you'll want to learn words and phrases you can use to talk about things. In this English lesson I will help you learn over 40 verbs that we use to describe many everyday items in English. I'm sure it will greatly improve your spoken English.
This will seem to be a simple English vocabulary lesson at first, but it will be a lot more advanced than that. If you listen carefully you'll hear me use many English phrases and I will also give lots of example sentences that you can use to describe the things around you when you have your next English conversation.
I'll help you learn words like to drip, to dribble, to make a funny noise, to make a racket, to activate, to expand, to contract and more! By the end of the lesson you'll have learned over 40 new English verbs and how to use them!
I hope you enjoy this lesson on verbs we use to talk about things in English!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Hi, teacher Bob, thank you so much for your free lessons , I learned a lot. I have a question about your name. Is "Bob the Canadian" your full name? Or you put your name and nationality together? For example, My name is Xiaoman, I am a Chinese. So I can say Xiaoman the Chinese. Is this correct? I know maybe this is a silly question, sorry., but really hope will get a answer from you. Thank you, teacher Bob the Canadian.

Hi, Mr Bob. I might be a bit slow here, the verb shrink I was thinking it's shrank in the past
@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian

In informal English it can be either. Shrank is the most correct, but shrunk is used a lot informally. It even made it into a movie title, "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!" 😎

Thank you for your amazing lessons) I have a question: when do you use "I will" and when do you use "I'm going to"? Are there any differences?

In informal English they are interchangeable. Here is some more reading: languagelearningbase.com/85635/what-is-the-difference-between-i-will-and-i-am-going-to

Thanks a lot! Because I didn't know that in informal English I can use them interchangeably. It simplifies speaking in English a little bit. Thanks again, you're a great teacher)
Hello

Bob, I'm sorry but I have to say that I find your examples ( yesterday it___, tomorrow it___) is not very helpful and repetitive. This is a super excellent lesson tho.
