Free English Class! Topic: Building Materials! 🧱🔩👷‍♂️ (Lesson Only)

It's time to learn some English vocabulary for common building materials! I wonder if you've had a chance to study these words yet or if they will all be new for you. Do you know how to talk about building material in English? In this lesson I'll help you learn words and phrases that you can use when talking about home repairs, renovations, and new builds!
We all have to have a place to live, maybe a house, an apartment, or even just a room that we rent. Wherever you live, that building was built using building materials. There are times when you will need to be able talk about a pipes, studs, wires, and more! In this free English class I'll help you learn the vocabulary to do just that!
In this free English class you'll learn words and phrases like: masonry, drywall, nail, screw, wire, brick, block, mortar, 2x4, paneling, concrete, vapour barrier, insulation, joist, adhesive, truss, rebar, conduit, plywood, and many more!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about building materials!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Great video! Thanks a lot. 😊 Concrete is good for compressive stress but easily breaks at tensile stress, steel withstands tensile stresses very well, but bends easily under compressive stress. Rebar concrete combines both advantages - it withstands reliably both tensile and compressive stresses.

Very nice video sir.We can define the truss as "a framework which is formed in the shape of triangles". We also use D.P.C. (Damp proof course) in buildings which avoids the building from humidity of foundation.
