Laptop BMS have a chip that locks charging and discharging if you disconnect the battery (same for drones) you must have a device with an I2C connection plus the software and the key to unlock it. It is also better to program your BMS for the battery you are using (those BMS can be configurate with I2C and the software that unlock it , so unfortunately hacking the BMS belonging to a laptop is not that simple. But it is true that they are of great quality

Aapko BMS through power Dena padega nahi to vo on nahi hoga no option. Kuhch alteration Kiya to Aapka laptop damage ho sakta hai. Better hai BATTERY pack hi use kar lo, either laptop power connector se hi power Dena
