I followed ur link and brought vps and installed it. Your guide was very good. But I had to uninstall it because it shows me error "Forbitten" Then i installed cyberpanel(it need to update and upgrade the ubuntu first). It working properly except sometime giving me ssl error (not always). It may be due to name server propergation. I will wait another 24hrs (to complete 48hrs) and let u know.

I am using OVH and they disable root user by default which prevents me from logging in to CWP. Any work around for this?

I tried it on a 1gb server last week (a free oracle amd) it ran Wordpress fine 👍 1gb is minimum but 4gb recommended if you want to run the mail server on it too with mail anti spam and malware/virus scanning

Those are great choices, they manage the backend so you don’t need to admin the server - similar to cloudways. They add cost but simplify your experience - check my video on “managed vs unmanaged” where i talk about these concepts

After using HestiaCP for a while, I can say I am moving to CWP. HestiaCP is locked into NGINX only, no Apache or Node.js support. Plus it has WAY better security features and the Pro version is totally worth the money.

It’s more work to manage your own server, but rackerd should easily be better than hostgator 👍 vultr is the fastest one though, it’s what I use most 🙌

Thanks - also it’s 10 user account limit in the free version, but the number of websites is not limited, I.e. each user can have many websites 👍

Can you please make one tutorial on how to install Mod Security and/or any other security features in Hestia and CloudPanel? My WordPress sites are getting malware-affected & file permissions are being changed every alternative day. Btw your channel is very helpful. I found so much info in your videos. You could run those through Cloudflare for improved security, but not sure if they will add modsec - Best to ask the hestia forum & cloudpanel discord for details

Having said that, I do trust plesk a lot more than most other options - are these 10 sites bringing much revenue? Think about what you would lose if everything was down for a day and weigh that up against any cost savings before you decide to switch

@@IdeaSpot Great point, you know the situation when you're hosting sites for friends and suchlike. (Need to create my own boundaries which is a whole different show) but ultimately friends and family and it is starting to bite. Rack nerd have some incredible offers on VPS for the whole year and you've done some great videos about them. So great question, look forward to your video on the all in one migration tool. Especially if the website is large.

its just demo CWP version , its good work only 1 to 10 domain only , after it its charge $ , you cant change PHP Ver per domain , everything chargeable. if you are student then use it otherwise WHM cPanel is best for developer

Racknerd is good value but this tutorial will still work ok on most other vps providers

Helpful, but it would be more helpful to separate the installation demo from that of the description of CWP features & how it compares to C-Panel, etc. Consider that some hosts do the install for the client (me, for example), as the viewer might not care one wit about the specifics & intricacies of installation of CWP or migration from C-Panel to CWP... What would be REALLY helpful would be a tutorial to help those who are familiar with C-Panel & WHM io discover & locate the equivalent options & features o CWP vs C-Panel. In fact, 80% of this video was not review and such things, as above, that I was hoping to find. THX
