Free camping on Australia's longest beach
Today I drive to the Gippsland Lakes district to explore its small seaside villages and camp on Ninety Mile Beach - the second longest beach in the world. Here you'll find sleepy coastal towns such as Seaspray, Golden Beach and Loch Sport. I also go in search of Aussie wildlife and find kangaroos who like to hang out on a golf course.

My parents lived at Golden Beach till a few years ago. Great spot, and the beach walks are wonderful. I found it so easy to keep walking mile after mile without even realising how far I'd gone, and then have to turn round and make the long haul back! Saw dolphins from the beach one time, and seals sometimes come up to sun themselves on the sand. A constantly changing beach too, never knew what to expect from one day to the next. Magical

Thanks. Yes Seaspray seems to be growing since I first went there about 10 years ago.
