UPDATE HYPE! HOLY! Definitely alot to take in after watching the Brawl Talk but, I think this new system has so much potential! I still cant believe f2p players will be able to unlock new higher rarity brawlers once they are released if they have enough credits saved up!! Im very excited for all of these awesome updates brawl stars in releasing. still kinda sad that boxes are getting removed but with all the brawlers that will be in the game the boxes will be so hard to get all the brawlers for new playrs and f2p players.

Yes, there's also the issue of Brawl Stars not being able (until now) to be in some countries exactly because of this probability system, so I'm sure there's a financial reason behind this system change, which I'm happy about, because "long live good game makers"! :D

3:50 the gene bot probably had the star power that deals 1k dmg if you pull a person equipped. They never mention that rework in any of the patch notes but it's in the game

It was an old change in last update which they forgot to mention, its spirit slap which deals 1k damage on super

I have some ideas for star powers and gadgets for the next 3 brawlers, these are taken from the brawl talk and just ideas. Mandy 1st Gadget: Mandy will instantly charge up a ranger bar, it will give an extra 5 tiles in range but if she moves around it decays. So standing still will give her an extra 5 tiles in range (which is longer then the base increase of her built-in mechanic) but when she moves it decays and the more it decays the less of the range it will give (once the bar is half way down she will have a 2.5 tile range increase) 2nd Gadget: Mandy’s next super will bounce off the sides of the map. It’s simple but since her super already goes through walls and it has a MASSIVE RANGE If it hits the side of the map it is wasted. But with this gadget it will bounce and can hit enemies since it is super fast. 1st Star Power: I couldn’t find anything for her star power in the brawl talk but maybe it could increase her range while in her sniper form or maybe speeds up the time it takes to turn into the form I don’t have an idea for her second star power. Chester 1st Gadget: In a large circle around him, he will teleport enemies and teammates to the opposite side of where they were standing, so if there was an enemy in front of him and he activated it they would teleport behind him an equal distance away from him then they were before. 2nd Gadget: Chester instantly charges his super. This might be good or bad depending on his super charge rate and what super you get. It adds more randomness to him but not too much because all supers are useful. 1st Star Power: in the brawl talk they only talked about a 3 attack cycle, it went 1 projectile to 2 then 3 and then it starts again. But from the gameplay he had a 4th stage that shot 4 or 5 projectiles so that’s might be the star power. 2nd Star Power: Chesters supers now each gain a new small ability (I don’t know how they will display this) - His bomb will now gain 2 extra tiles of knockback - The last tick of the healing will be done in a small area around Chester - His Poison gas will now go through walls - His stun shot will now double the damage dealt to ‘special targets’ - The slowing circle will now trap enemies inside of it (once they go in they can’t leave) Gray 1st Gadget: Gray will mime and create a 5 tile wall infront of him, it won’t be like sprouts super where it will change shape where you place it, it will always make 5 straight walls across. This will last for 5-10 seconds but CANNOT be broken since they are mimed 2nd Gadget: Gray will perform a confetti trick that will turn him into confetti, this will deal 1000 damage to enemies and provide a 25% damage buff to all nearby allies. After this trick he will become invisible for 3 seconds and won’t be able to attack for this time. If he is damaged he will automatically become visible again. 1st Star Power: The only thing I could see from the gameplay would be when he used his super and swapped the Tara shadow to where he was standing. And no 2nd star power I can think of for him I also have ideas for the 4 mythic gears that were shown Squeak: He leaves a trail of drool behind him that slows and deals 100 damage per second (it would be like Carl’s old hot rocks gadget when it followed him) Leon: If he attacks while invisible he won’t leave his invisibility. This might be broken so you could make it for the first attack in his invisibility or for the first few seconds of it. Sandy: Allies will gain a damage boost while in his sandstorm, an extra 10% damage buff for every Allie in the storm (kinda like buster but when all 3 allies are in the sandstorm they all gain a 30% damage increase I don’t know what brawler the 4th one is

I see it now: Grey release day, Grey Stars, 3 portals. (Wish the teleport was quicker than the teleport pads normally, maybe instant)

Chester and Grey seem really cool This update overall was really cool! Can't wait for December 12th🎄

Honestly this is way better than I expected it was going to be. I thought that the system was going to make it much more difficult to unlock brawlers the f2p way but I think it’s a pretty decent system. The one thing about the brawl pass I didn’t hear them mention was how this affects the end of the brawl pass after you reach tier 70. Is it going to be the same where instead of getting another big box after 500 tokens it’ll be credits? A mix of credits and chroma credits? Is that part of the brawl pass going away and it just stops after tier 70? If you can just keep grinding out those credits at the end of the pass it should make it a pretty good way to whittle away at the legendary brawlers

I’m really excited for Chester and Mandy, not particularly gray, they all have interesting personalities compared to the other brawlers

The gear furthest to the right might signify the buzz or buster circle, maybe opponents get slowed a little bit while inside of buzz’s super charge area

Excellent brawl talk, but they didn't clarify whether we old players can get the credits from the trophy road, the ones we already got as boxes. Although I doubt that we will get them, we already have a lot that we unlocked from the boxes

This Brawl Talk was so impressive! The dev team really showed us they care about the game. If there was any turning point for Brawl Stars, this would be the one! Crazy to think we are getting all this in one update: 1. THREE very unique looking brawlers - one of them being a legendary after more than a year! Oh and two of them are practically FREE brawlers! 2. No more boxes! A brand new way to unlock brawlers in the game using the new currency Credits! A total revamp of the progression system, which is so refreshing to see after so long. 3. 4 new Mythic Gears! 4. The best value Brawl Pass ever since we are getting half the gems back and extra credits! Plus we get to keep the rewards we unlocked so far as well! 5. A TON of new skins, didn't bother to count! All of them look amazing! 6. Brawlidays rewards! 7. A free skin for everyone as always for the 4th anniversary of the game. 8. A new cosmetic introduced to flex your OGness in Brawl Stars, which is great for long term players! I love this one a lot! 9. Duels are becoming permanent now, which is great since most players love the mode! 10. The new Starr Road provides new players an easy and simple road to getting new brawlers! No more randomness! And yeah legendaries won't take years to unlock anymore! After reading this list, there's no way you can say this update was anything less than amazing. Keep it up, Brawl Stars! All this has truly revived my love for the game!🙏

Hey Rey, not sure if I got this correct from the BrawlTalk - hope you can clarify: All unclaumed boxes bill get auto. collected, does this mean that the auto. collected boxes will already contain the "new" content so the "credits"?? If so, it would make sense to not open the boxes now as I have an maxed out account and no Brawlers/SP/Gadget to get from the boxes, right? Thanks, Rey

I am pretty sure, 1st gear is life steal, 2nd is kinda invisibility after you come out from Bush , 4th is speed decrease or any debuff in stat and 3rd one is hard to say, kinda shows confusion

This is the longest Brawl Talk, as well as the most content filled update ever! I’m so excited to play all the three new brawlers!

They did not mention anything about power points, did they? I feel like we will only be able to obtain power points to upgrade brawlers from store, brawl pass, or challenges, but I don't like that at all. It feels like brawler upgrading will be slower now and if you are missing like 7 points for the next upgrade to a brawler you will have to spend one those brawl pass power points that are worth 25 and if you don't have any of those then you will have to spend one of the 125 or 150 point packs just to get those 7 points.

I'm getting excited tbh cause it's coming in like 4 days i believe I'm finally gonna get to have those few brawlers i have played so long for, I've tried to get max tho

Kinda have a mixed reaction, kinda more on the bad side.. I don't like the box to credit change. Yes, it gives more control but it is soo downgraded. I finished the tiers and had 31 boxes saved. So fun storing them and getting more saved up and not knowing what you'd get. Opening them all at once is like opening up wrapped Christmas gifts under the tree; now it's all out in the open when you get new rewards. Took me weeks. Last night I could only put them in as the credit conversion to get Chester, and still had to spend gems, to get him to level 9. I feel ripped off. It's like how upgrading brawlers takes hundreds to thousands of coins each yet you only get like 15 free coins each day.. Anyway, Chester is so so fun to play with. So exciting and he deals SO much damage, I don't even understand how. You have to deal 500,000 damage to get Gray. I was able to get over 500,000 in just 40 minutes with Chester. I was so surprised. Gray feels kind of bland. I got bored of playing with him in just a couple of matches. I really don't like how the Gray and Chester skins offered don't have any changes to animations or anything, just the costume. And I don't have friends to actively play Brawl Stars with, so the Fame thing is useless to me. I have all brawlers unlocked, have played daily since Season 2 and finished every premium tier from Season 2 till now, have 11 brawlers maxed out, a ton of skins, and no one to flex it to just random strangers I get matched up with. Meh. Didn't really like this update/system change to Brawl Stars ._.

I'm am so hyped that they are adding more mythic gears and a new legendary who has FIVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SUPERS, that is INSANE

Chester seems so fun, but with randomized supers you could definitely end up getting the only one that wouldn’t help in like a game saving play. I will be the one that happens to, I know it

3:51 gene's magic hand also deals 1000 damage, don't know if that hit, but 4500 - 1000 is less than 3750.

I think the reason Mr. P was dying at 3:53 is because he was hit with Mandy’s super at the exact same time as a Gene super with the 1000 damage star power. So those two attacks added up dealt enough damage to “one-shot” the Mr. P. Thank goodness she doesn’t have a one-shot super!

There's: - Really cool skins - I can flex - Surge's gadget returns as gray's super, but better - 3 Brawlers, 1 for free and 1 I can start working on right away - A surprising reimbursement, I honestly wasn't expecting them to be that generous - A brawler with an attack and super which will make people paranoid - A brawler which is going to force me to work on my aiming First time I'm actually looking forward to Monday I would say my only criticism is that some brawlers received several skins, whilst others received none that haven't had any for a while *cough* surge *cough* , but you can't have everything

i'm SO excited for this update! i'm definitely gonna get mandy's brawl pass! although i wish lou got a skin since sam gets TWO this update and so does ash

Idea about Gray: i think that his attack might block the path of the enemy brawlers for a tiny amount of time because of the animation in game and cause of the movie clip thing they showed!

3:45 the gene super also hit mr.p I think and genes second star power now makes it do 1000 damage

4:36 the Bo also shot the Mr. P, dealing additional damage.

Man, this update is the best! 3 new brawlers, new ways to flex, new currency; this is something we needed for a while now.

I have a question and I have no idea if literily anyone can anwser it other than brawl stars, but what would happen if I'm only missing 7 brawlers (with the 3 new ones 10)? would I still need to get the credits/chromatic credits for the brawlers I've already gotten or do I start further down the star road at brawlers I don't actually have yet?

Tbh removing boxes and making it easy to get the brawler you want is good for players but it might not work that good for game once people get the brawlers they want they might just get bored Like my example once i got almost all the brawlers available till last brawlidays (f2p) my interest in game went down and from a hardcore player i became one most casual one that only returns for a day in like two-three months

I have that feeling too. Current players with every brawler wont really benefit from this. It’s all cosmetic updates for us. However new players now have the options to catch up and unlock every brawler on day one with gems alone.

Mandy is released in a few weeks and will have 2 skins and nani was released in 2020 and also has 2 skins (besides true gold and silver) seems fair

brawl stars should make a tag team unit( kinda like bonnie but more like 2 brawlers switching with a unique super) not that i say it would be a good idea but hey, cool idea

I wonder what’s going to happen if you are like 90% of the way to unlocking every brawler will you have to start at the bottom or the Star road or will you start where a brawler you don’t have is the next option

This kinda sucks for people like myself, who've saved up a ton of boxes to max out new Brawlers on launch. Now all that saving will go to nothing since they're getting collected.

I would want the community to deliver a message to brawl stars dev team, we NEED a compensation for all the boxes we got, it doesn’t make sense we have tons of probability to get mythics, legendaries, etc and it’s not fair (not only did the omega box increase the probability but then there’s nothing else) I feel it’s unfair. For example I have been playing brawl since EU release and right now I got only 2 brawlers left, the thing is that those being the last two realeased brawlers, my prob of getting a legendary (buster) are at 0,2744 (near maximum) and when the new season releases I will have completely nothing to get those two, it also means it’s going to be harder just getting 1 chromatic brawler instead of being able to stay at date with the brawl pass even if you are a free2play

Yo i kust wanna know do you get credits for the brawlers you already have?? Or we have to grind it like crazy?

I love how people got like 2 brawlers and like 2 or 3 starpowers from that omega box and I didn't even get a gadget

Same. On my main account I have every brawler, I unlocked Buster and leveled him to power 9. The omega did me dirty, only gold.

I just realised they didnt add a specific new game emode for the update nor give us new weekend game modes.

3:41 Maybe the bot Gene is using the Spirit Slap Star Power (that makes his super deal 1k damage) If you add up 3750 (Mandy's super damage) and 1000 (Gene's SP) that makes for a total of 4750 damage and Mr. P has only 4500 So it could be an instant kill or it can be just 3750 damage

The water in the new inviroment looks sick. You can see it when they show grey in the corner of the hot zone map.

This update change is really affective to me, as well as brawl stars.

Kinda sad that boxes are going and I'm gonna miss the surprise of the flashing icon and silhouette of the brawler before the shock of who it is, I think they should keep boxes in the shop for like gems just so yt channels or anyone else can just open them, but still have the starr road, trophy road and brawl pass with tokens. (they should of had the old tickets instead of tokens as well cos it kinda fits starr road and would be cool)

power points on the top of screen? i think we will be able to upgrade our brawlers without getting random brawlers power point much like clash mini or even clash of clans! thats so cool man....

My guesses for the 4 Mythic Gears are... Squeak,Rosa,Sandy & Shelly.

Help me understand how are we going to upgrade the brawlers we get? The boxes gives you the most value for everything in the game, gold, double tokens, stars power and points to upgrade brawlers.🥺

Rey At 3:45 I think that djinn sp that deal 1000 damage with his super hit the Mr p right before Mandy used her super

The super for mandy does do 3750 damage its just the bo's attack also hits the Mr P as well.

When I saw the jester in the community tab picture I gave it the name Chester lol turns out my name was correct Expected it to be shorter tho

I’m going to open all my boxes. 3 seasons worth, seasons 13 , 14 and the current 15. I’ll leave my mini account alone to see what the auto collection looks like on 3 seasons.

Gray wierdly , gives me chills and i don't know why :) but it has a cool design tho

I will be waiting for the fame system, I am basicly maxed as f2p just need some powerpoints and gold I kinda like it, but hate in a way because it will cost progress for visual comfort. I hope they make the new brawler system well. For perspective getting chromatics is harder now and already maxed players will get basicly every brawler as soon as they realease. Also I don't think this is buff to getting brawlers, it's just going to make it more consistant and you get the feeling to choose what you get as they said. In my honest opinion its great change that needs some time to get used into! (Also free brawler gray!!!!)

Theory about mythic gears: 1st mythic gear: I agree with ray I think it is a mortis gear which life steals health or smth 2nd mythic gear: I think it might be for Leon where he can not have his invisibility disrupted like how he was before 3rd mythic gear: I also agree with ray i think this is a sandy gear, where enemies get slowed in Sandy’s super 4th mythic gear: This is the hardest one, but I think it may be a Nita gear where her bear slows enemies but I have really no clue Also let me know if u have a better idea for the 4th gear bc I’m lost

Mandy's super doesn't kill Mr p in one hit because the gene probably has the hand star power witch deals 1000 damage

Frozen queen is the best skin on this season, if they keep it for 79 gems or 149 it will be easy to buy the skin. Btw you explained really great, thank you for brawl stars hype.

tbh man, Mandy`s super reminds me of a sans`s blaster - it doesn` destroy anything, but it goes thru anything and anialates everything in its path

Imo, the chromatic change is so great because it makes them acrually special again. 10/10 update imo "Boxes are pain" -reys account

14:13 it looks like if you launch it at an ally it will switch ur positions with them. would be hilarious to swicth with your bull teammate or something.

I have a question... If you have like 58/62 brawlers will you still have them after the update or you will have to make all your hard work all over again?

Hey Rey one question: i don't know if they told us but I'm really curious about how to level up our Brawlers? I mean we won't have boxes so idk how we'll be able to level them up?

Lmaoo I was just thinking of a brawler that creates wall or teleport around the map 😂

I am not really happy with the boxes getting taken away, for me it has always been one of the main brawl stars things, also I think it is kind of boring to know what brawler you will get next.

So if a buy the brawl pass rn I will get the boxes, the points which I would have gotten if I will buy after update and 80 gems back?

So all of my boxes that i kept for unlocking new released brawlers ( cause i already got all of the brawlers by now ) will just turn into random power points and coins? Kinda dissapointing in my opinion. 😕

3:53 it wouldn't make sense for mandy to "one shot" any brawler then there's literally a damage output shown (3750)?? plus i think bo's attack landed at the same time that mandy super did

Those mythic gears all might be for legendaries The first for ambers super Second for leons super Third for sandy And fourth for crow?

I can't believe we are getting compensation for this brawl pass. Also how can the free brawler have such a thing as a teleporter! And Chester is going to be able to do so much burst damage don't you think?

Hate the character design/models of the new brawlers. The duo looks generic and boring (but look interesting gameplay wise) Mime looks fine though Overall i feel game will become much more expensive and unaccesible, as nothing of value drops anymore. Add costs of SP + Gadget + level 11 + gears (including 3000 gold epic gears) and it more or less becomes impossible to get even a single brawler to level 11 in reasonable time if you want to do it for free

Gold got nerfed, because everything will cost gold. And we weren’t told how much gold we will be able to get after the update as compared to before. It’s a shame because boxes we just barely giving out a decent amount of gold.

Yup, i don't see any reason to celebrate this update yet, we need much more details Gold will be one of the biggest issues Honestly i wish they start giving gold + power points for every win, and a decent amount. Or some other consistent reward for our efforts and gameplay

I don’t know if this will be possible, but so want to see the ultimate cursed account now with all brawlers (maybe maxed) with zero trophies.

This update is gonna be crazy 2 new brawlers on update day is awesome. I'm excited to try out all the new brawlers and content.

I got buster but not from the brawl pass I have all the brawlers now should I still get haunted train brawl pass??

I just realised that they removed Boxes bocause of the random luck factor but the new Legendary has a random super. 🤔🤔
