I think it’s worth mentioning that Sina Döering, drum superstar, has a special quality that goes unrecognized. Curiously, it makes me love her work all that much more, and it’s this: She doesn’t perform for the camera. That seems like an odd thing to say about someone who video tapes her truly outstanding drum performances. But here’s the thing: She makes her music not about her; she makes it about the music! She doesn’t stare at the camera, acting cutesy. Her performances never comes off as, “Look at me; see how entertaining I am.” To me, Sina is one of the most brilliant, down-to-earth musicians you’ll ever have the pleasure of seeing. No ‘glamming it up’ for the audience; the spotlight is not on her looks or how enticing she can make herself appear. No, the focus is on her technique, her timing, her precision, her extraordinary skill, and her intense concentration on musical perfection. She leaves her ego at home; she comes to work prepared to make the best music she possibly can, leaving flamboyant personal extravagance out it. Music! I think we can all agree Sina sets the gold standard for musical excellence. She’s cute, but she doesn’t act cute. When we perceive her ability and who she is, something like that counts. She’s the real deal. She deserves to be admired for making music about the music and not about herself. My god, woman-“Brava! Brava!”

@@fredpace7514 I always thought Artimus was the better drummer for their live performances. He hit a lot harder and really drove the rest of the band. Look at Freebird, Oakland 1977, Artimus was a beast on this song live.

Drummer's brains work faster by 2 to 4 times that of normal people. A 2 drummer is good, a 3 drummer excellent, a 4 drummer is rare and absolutely superb. You Sina are a 4. You are on the level of Niel Pert and John Bonham and Artemis Pyle. People don't realize that you have to be at least two counts ahead of the song to be on time. To be four counts ahead makes you superior because you are leading the song not just keeping time. This is one of your finest pieces of work, it was challenging. BRAVO!!!

I saw them play at Rich Stadium in Buffalo on a revolving stage back in the seventies with James Gang and Emerson,Lake and Palmer. Something I will never forget along with tailgate party and general admission! Soft matting on the field and a warm sunny day. People were so kind to each other and I also got to get real close to the stage as well. One of the best life experiences for me ever!!! Never to be forgotten as it is deeply etched in my soul as well as my brain!!!!! I only wish that type of human generosity could be experienced by everyone in today’s day and age along with all the kindness instead of today’s caution and competition.

If there was any doubt that you are not the greatest drummer on social media in 2024 it is now gone after watching and hearing the absolute God gifted talent that you have on that drum kit. It isn't just the beat for beat you recreate of Pyle's Free Bird, but it's the little stick noises and rim hits that adds that hidden flavor that only such an advanced state of playing could be produced here. It's not just Sina playing this song note for note, it's the mind blowing little things that she naturally adds with it that makes her playing special to such a sophisticated state that it's simply outstanding and only a very limited few can replicate ! Sina you are straight up one "bad ass mofo"!
