Just started watching you today and I can’t stop watching! I have all of my Bible stuff out and you get me excited about the Bible! 😁😁😁

I keep the return envelopes that are sent in bills (I always pay online). Sometimes, they have clear address spaces, and that plastic I'm going to use as a window like you showed. Scraps of gift wrap are also fun. If a magazine has a large number on it (say, on a basketball jersey), the number can be cut out to emphasize a chapter. If you want to coverup anything you dont want, such as the image part of the cereal box, glue plain printer paper on it! I've even used band aids (unused, of course!). The "scraps" around the house are endless! A piece of an old shirt could even be used (just watch the weight). Okd shower curtain. Toilet paper and paper towel tubes. Aluminum foil, wax paper, and sandwich bags). Old tissue boxes . Tennis shoe laces ( particularly as book marks!). Petals of dried potpourri or faux flowers. I've even used nail polish. You've got WAY more than you think you do. 🥰

Every year we took our sons birthday cards and made a placemat, laminated, and used it for the entire next year.

I've been using magazine letters in the place of stencil or stamping . Recently I've been using old calendar and colorful books I collect from yard sales in the free bin. I have some music sheets as well that I use. Cutting out chip bags (washed of course) using the letters from them. Lol also thread, yarn and ribbon. It sounds corny but hey it works! 🎼🌾. Possibilities are endless.

I love using kid illustrations. At a yard sale, I scored many Veggie tales books. Seeing Bob, Larry, and Archibald saying, "God made you special, and He loves you very much" in my Bible makes me smile!

I cut out scripture and quotes from the church bulletins, collect stickers, and even cut out pretty photos from magazines. Then, I paste those onto the notebook paper I'm using to write someone a snail mail. I've made bookmarks to send along with the same materials. So, one could use the same for Bible journaling, as you mentioned in another video. Also, some of the fancier Christmas cards have gold or silver foil inside the envelope or on the card itself. One can cut out shapes or letters from that and add them to your Bible journal. Makeup has an expiration date; so, I've always wondered if one could mix the powder with clear glue and make a page sparkle a little. By the way, I've seen where nail polish puckers the page like watercolor does. Finally, we got a whole box of invisible ink pens that also have the UV flashlight on the non-pen end. We give them out to new members of our church. Plus, some of us wrote encouraging messages or smiley faces in the Bibles and hymnals in the pews. So, when we hand the new members their pens, we tell them they can use the flashlight on the Bibles and hymnals to see little messages from the Church. They write well on all kinds of paper, so think about the uses in Bible journaling. In letters to people, I've written them in regular ink, then written in the invisible ink some Bible verses, quotations, or even a second letter in between the lines of the regular ink. Makes it totally fun for the recipient. So, think of the option invisible ink would give you right over the text in the Bible!

Really loved this video. I love to use my kids’ stickers in my bible study notes & prayer journal. I also like to glue in or tape photos of my kids in my bible if I’m studying something that reminds me of them or family. I have tons of ultrasounds pictures in my journaling bible from praying, studying & journaling while pregnant with my son 4 months ago. I like to flip back now and thank God in prayer for him. It’s beautiful looking back and seeing it all in my bible, all of the complications and worry that I was lifting up to God and putting in his hands, and seeing how my faith and prayer were working everyday. ♥️

Yep, I sometimes use the church bulletins to take notes then I tape it into my bible. 😊

My church bulletin has a drawing on the cover, which illustrates the Gospel reading of that Sunday. I like cutting it out and gluing it into my prayer journal. Then writing my reflections on the Gospel reading.

I know you're talking about free stuff but if you have a look at all these they sell brown paper bags I believe between a nickel to a 10-cent and you can get a few of them and not even put your groceries in there and just take them home and have something really cheap to use I'm always used to search bull to whenever I got it love your ideas I am hooked on your channel and your videos thank you for sharing all your great advice

Love tgese ideas Faith, thank u I've used most of what u described. Junk mail is tge best, I use the large lettering and pictures like flowers, hearts etc. Also use childrens bible books from Dollar Tree as cut outs. I always buy plenty bcuz i have grandchildren but Always buy extra :) they also uave great stickers at dollar tree

I guess I'm on mailing lists because I get things in the mail from different churches. They are usually very nice colorways and have scripture throughout. 😍 I have donated to causes, so I also get mail like that as well. I find a lot of beautiful pictures in them. After all , they want to be appealing. You are right, rather than shredding, journaling can be taken to a whole new level! I ordered some beautiful Bible tabs and they also included a second set as well as a bookmark. How sweet is that? I should mention that growing up I was taught to use things you had in creative ways (because money doesn't grow on trees...). I've never Bible journaled before, so just recently beginning I am so grateful for the amazing creativity! I will be looking at the dollar stores, too. I have all I basically need, so I haven't ventured out of my zone, but you have appealed to my sense of venture!

also if I get a card, the front of it often may have pretty art and often no wording on the other side... I cut it and either use in my kids lunch boxes or in my Bible journaling

You mentioned using the greeting card but what about envelopes the privacy kind or the liners. Thanks for all the ideas.

This is a good lens Faith uses in reading Song of Solomon. She writes, “in and throughout the Bible, we see God’s people being tempted by Baal and that perverted sexualized idol worship. Song of Solomon presents a love that isn’t cultic or perverted- just a God given sexual love.” She also has a video or two on Song of Solomon but it’s not titled Song of Solomon so I’m having trouble tracking it down right now….

I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible can I write in it or do I have too use a regular notebook or a journal ❤

I have used my church bulletins as well. If the saying or verse really hits me, I will cut it out and tape or glue it to the inside cover of my Bible.

Looks like a travelers notebook cover - you can find them online … Amazon, Etsy They come in different sizes and you can buy inserts (notebooks) ☺️

What do i do/use if my bible journals paper is realllly thin? It’s so thin none of my pens work and pencil ghosts in it a bit to i really love the bible but i cant write in it so if anyone has any tips for me plz reply :c

Maybe insert some thicker card stock or blank paper in between the pages. I believe she has a video on how to do that it may be awhile back but I remember watching a video of hers where she did that.
