CP3 passing the ball is gonna be stupidly productive. Part of the reason the Spurs started off so badly is Wemby's teammates were taking shots early in the shot clock, taking stupid contested shots that only young players take, and just plain ignoring the fact they had the #1 pick on their team. I don't know if it's realistic but would love to see the Spurs challenge for a playoff spot.

Speaking as a Bulls fan who grew up through the championship era in Jr High and High school, right now I think most of us are just numb to the horrible front office management and are experiencing a bit of copium that the team is at least finally trying to scrap some kind of value from the mess they've put themselves in. The what-ifs over the last 4 years are brutal. We don't know if the Bulls are finally making moves because AK accepted that his vision was flawed, or if he wanted to make moves before but Jerry blocked them on insistence of staying "competitive" (which we never were outside the dream that was those 30 games a few years ago), or if they're both to blame (likely). The amount of value we lost from holding onto assets too long is just depressing to dwell on. It's kind of like the constant conversations from Bulls fans about how PWill is a bust and not living up to the status of a #4 pick. At some point, we just have to realize that the FO made a bad grasp taking a 1 year college bench player with the 4th overall pick, and stop comparing him to that. Hopefully PWill shows some growth this year. Hopefully the youth movement allows some of the young players to grow, and hopefully the team can find a way to move Vuc and Lavine to open up for more moves in the next year or two. But even if that all goes right, the front office has set this process back at least a solid 5 years.

The Clippers are getting ready to rebuild since PG didn't resign. At the trade deadline, they will unload whoever they can for assets. Their plan A was to resign everyone below the max to upgrade the team and avoid the second apron in the future. Since that didn't happen, plan B is to rebuild. Ownership didn't think this team was good enough to compete against the elite teams unless they upgraded the team.

So Demar and fox are the best in the league at closing out close games. The kings lost 10 games last season by 5 or less points and still won 46 games. If they win four of those games they got 50 wins and are a top 4 team. Is he better than HB? 100%. So that should hopefully translate to more Ws as well. Kings should aim for 50 wins this season.

I DO think the Kings have a better shot at winning a playoff series than the Bulls did, but in a vacuum this trade definitely wasn't a needle mover that puts them into the WCF contender tier. None of these moves by other teams matter. Celtics haven’t changed their roster. Tatum and brown will only get better. White is still young. Horford seems like he never ages. Holiday is 33 but doesn’t rely on athleticism to play. They might lose hauser, but schierman seems like a good replacement. Pretty much won the playoffs without Kristap. So doesn’t matter if he is healthy or not

Yes. on paper, the celtics have the best roster. But It depends on where tatum/brown are at mentally next season and it depends on health. Both tatum and brown seemed really consistent all year, and comitted to winning all year long. Both guys improved in the off season and improved playing together. Now after a title, after tatum gets his max deal... will they show the same heart and hunger for another title? I dont know.
