32 years old here and am a complete beginner. After years of trial error, and ultimately, little to show for my accomplishments, this as an essential path that I know will definitely change my life for the better. I heard that Leon knows his stuff and feel inspired by the reception. Excited to get started!

WoW! I’ve been hearing a lot about 100 devs. Didn’t realise Leon was such a good teacher!
This is hands down the best video about self taught web development. I've self taught myself for 5+ years and I haven't quite left the peak. I can learn anything, but I need this extra step to the Promised Land! Even if I don't "get in" I will keep trying and definitely watch all of these videos and more! Thank you! - VI
Hello, I would like to tell you thank you so much. I am pivoting into software engineering from Architecture and all the effort you made creating this free BootCamp is valuable. A big hug from Peru.
I just found this last week and I started a bootcamp this week on Monday. I realized this is so much better than the bootcamp I was going to attend and I dropped out from the bootcamp. My goal is to go through this and get a job but the end of this year. Thank you for making this available for free and for all the hard work you put into it.

As soon as you said E&S and that you're from Philly as well, I knew I have to stick this out! I went to Franklin Towne and left septa bc of the pandemic and have been wanting to learn code for so long but couldn't find anything legit. I trust you already and I'm 10 mins in!. Thanks man! I'm excited
3 years later, and this playlist is still one of the top recommended on a few groups I've joined. I know nothing about programming, but I've always had a huge interest. I'll slowly make my way through all of the videos. I hope this will not only teach me the basics of what I need to know but also help me decide if this is truly what I want to do. I'm 32 and looking for a career change that will get me out of hard, heavy labor and into something that will give me a lottle more freedom so i can have more time with my kids.
Just hearing about the program but excited to start. It's nice to see you active in the comments ! Let's do it !
this is seriously the best tutorial ive ever come across!!
Thanks Leon for offering the free bootcamp. I'm a member of catch-up crew. Setting up my environment to restart the 100DEVS training to get all the requirements/homework submitted. Looking forward to the next cohort.

Hi Leon. I am also someone who has been in the tech industry for many years and want to create free content to share the knowledge. I like to watch what others have done to give me ideas. I have to say. Your video is great! I can see the years of teaching experience you have by the way you can talk about a topic and give examples and not have to stop and "think" about what your going to say. Your story of how you got into coding is also amazing. I too decide to get into coding way back when to make sure I could have a good income to move up the economic later. I want to watch your vids to hear your stories. Your amazing!

@1:11:11 when you spoke as us saying "This is awesome, I like your hair, and it sounds right for me, but not now." Was me several months ago. I feel like a klutz for having found about this too late, but I'm going to be watching your last bootcamp classes. I read (on reddit I think) that students are expected to have read the assigned readings before each class. Are these assignments something viewers like me will have access to via links to online matierial or is that material specific to the boot camp students? Just wondering before diving into these multi-hour videos. Thank you so much in advance!

Hey Leon, I've just found out about you and what you do for the community. I just have one question, though: How does a bootcamp work? I work on a weird schedule and it's basically impossible for me to follow anything live. Will I be able to fully benefit from a bootcamp just by watching the VODS here on YT? Are there assignments that I'd need to deliver, so I would miss those by not being on the live stream? Thanks in advance, cheers from Brazil!

You can get an overwhelming majority of the benefits by watching them here. The assignments can be turned in late, they don't need to be delivered before or during the livestream. Many of us in the bootcamp are behind and still turn them in. There's actually a whole section (channel?) of the Discord for those people called the catchup crew.
Hi I am new to your bootcamp. I tried to sign up on discord. I clicked the green checkmark and it is not allowing me to post on the welcome section. Can you help me with this please? Is there something that I’m doing wrong?
