The reason why he got ''forgotten and shafted'' is because hes a product of a ''Goldem Era'' of comedy ( called the 70s )that has completely forgotten. And we are only reminded of that era when we see genuis like him. PC ( spit! ) people would rather stand around analizing comedy than just laugh at it. TG we have DVDs VHS and KZread to do what the PC brigade HATES us to do. LAUGH.

Used to have this programme taped from TV. Wore it out. It was filmed when Freddie was on tour in the West Country. Would LOVE to find another copy. Anyone any ideas?

Freddie in is hay-day, I saw Freddie Starr many times and he was a very talented guy, it was such a shame he went off the rails, I will always remenber his tribute to Elvis and the album the Spirit of Elvis he recorded, its a shame you went the wrong round in life freddie

A great singer. He does Elvis really well. Unfortunately, he took the piss out of Elvis - something he would never do in the past. He had an inflating jumpsuit and said Elvis was fat. I lost a lot of respect for him after that. He would always sing Elvis songs straight and seriously. He also has a good voice, as proved in this clip.
