Low key one of the GOAT interviews in Ariel’s career. Possibly my favorite behind the curtain wrestling interview I’ve ever heard.

Was a Freddie hater before this because I grew up having to watch his movies (I absolutely hated his movies), than heard he was in the WWE staff and was like "oh makes sense why the product sucks" 😅 Seems like a great dude, great attitude and love the way he is articulating his stories.

    1) I’ve waited since the last interview with Freddie to be on, he is by far the best guest ever on any of Ariel’s shows, 2) I started this at 4 am expecting to pass out but managed to stay awake for it all, this was awesome.

Freddie is the man and like us all tuning in for this stellar interview, a Mark for the Biz!! I’ve always been a fan of his therefore I’ve always had a genuine soft spot for him and his wife Sarah Michelle as well, as I grew up in the 90’s haha. I’d love to see him start up his own wrestling promotion!! There’s so much talent out there and I believe he can come up with some damn good storylines for them to like he said “make us care” about them. I hope it comes into fruition for him and us wrestling fans in ‘22 and I wish him all the luck and success with it! You got this Freddie 💪🏽💯‼️

Since Freddie's first Ariel interview, he's struck me as one of the more impressively developed humans to appear on the show. He seems like a big picture and detail guy, worldly and sophisticated while not taking himself too seriously, playfully creative as well as reality-testing, seems to grok teamwork and leadership, an appreciator of essence and appearance, and best of all, IMO, he seems to mindfully interact with people in good faith -- a significantly rare character trait in anyone, especially anyone with some social status, let alone his. Freddie seems like a wonderfully vibrant person who would be a pleasure to know and work with. If you're reading this (Freddie (hi)), I wonder if your future Wrestling promotion could use a world-class juggler (relevant stat: 2x 3 ball freestyle world champion) with a high-energy, crazy style. If so, I'd love to somehow be a part of it if you'd have me. Also, I was just checking out Wrestling with Freddie (stoked to listen) - why audio only? Maybe it's coming, maybe it's intentional..maybe it's explained in one of the episodes. ..just an (obvious) thought, which you're probably well aware of, to add to its pile, for what it might be worth (lol). Loved the interview and I'm looking forward to seeing manager Heelwani realize his dream - the granting of which was an understatedly fantastic moment! {^_^}"

I understand why Jeff as champion was considered the wrong decision for the wwe in hindsight, but from a fan perspective I am glad it happened. In my fandom I think back to my favorite wwe moments and Jeff Hardy and Eddie Guerrero winning the big one are up there. Those memories keeps me a fan to this day. If every wwe decision was the safe one then I probably would have stopped caring long ago.

I'm a Jeff Hardy fan but you got to give Hunter some point, Jeff was earmarked to win that year's money in the bank and cash-in in the same night at Wrestlemania, and he failed a drug test 2 weeks before it and blew like 5 months of build since 2007's Survivor Series. But at the same time, he returned later that year more popular than ever and just having killer matches so it was kinda hard to deny him the belt at that point.

Honestly Freddie is EXACTLY who AEW needs rn... They need someone who can 1 write promos or teach promos to the wrestlers who need it , promo class etc... 2 write stories that make people feel for the characters performing these moves. They have to introduce new ways to start and continue feuds 3 a writer that has Hollywood connections and experience doesn't hurt 4 a writer who is a fan with experience who worked with current AEW talent they can trust. I honestly can't think of many better for the role AEW clearly needs. Even part time consultant work.
