I am 58yrs old I saw Freddie in my own town of Leeds in 1982 Liverpool lebworth and lucky to be at live Aid he was an amazing entertainer his voice was like no other I have been a loyal fan for most of my life you may not be here in person but your still in people's hearts ...Mary you are one in a million as your love for him was true and you were there right to the end ...he loved you like no other hope you are around for many years to come i have watch the movie dozens of times and even though i have seen it so many but it breaks my heart when i see you go to visit him in Munich and he was so so happy to see you he looked lost but he listened to you as you always had his back and proved you truly loved him love to you Mary you are a turely a diamond in the rough take care Regards marilyn

The best proof of love is letting go and not being selfish and put the other first. Which they did.

I feel Freddie was confused from a child about his identity and his parents were not aware of this...he felt he did not fit in with what his parents wanted, especially his dad..possibly feeling under pressure from his dad. He needed emotional support from his parents from childhood and counselling. Possibly the trauma from escaping from his country and trying to fit in with his local area were a contributor. There was unresolved deep hurt from a childhood that he gave himself away to people who did not love him (one reason why he caught AIDS) such a shame as he is the only true legend in British music..a unique artist in every sense..no one will ever match up to him

The way Freddie looks at Mary, you can see so much love and respect he has for her. I had the longest crush on a guy who dated a few girls. When he admitted to being gay my crush was gone in an instant and we are best friends for over 30 years now. He has been my rock.

Well also, common sense tell us that since Jim was also HIV positive, Freddie couldn't know what would become of his estate and fortune should Jim fall sick as he did. He knew that Mary (should) live a long, healthy life with his God child and her other children. He did leave Jim land and half a million dollars. Nothing to sneeze at

It has nothing to do with Hutton having HIV. When will people simply accept that he left it to Mary because he wanted to!

Freddie signed his will in September, just two months before his death. Who knows, maybe Freddie and Jim would have already broken up by then if Freddie was not ill and dying. According to Jim, they quarrelled very often and Jim even moved out twice. Anyway, no matter how you try to justify why Freddie split his monetary assets the way he did, it doesn’t change the fact that Freddie chose to leave his ashes with Mary instead of Jim. That’s the most telling sign that Jim still had not earned Freddie’s trust despite staying together for 6 years. And Jim proved that Freddie’s hunch was correct by releasing a tell-all book sharing private intimate details about Freddie, after Freddie’s death.

So true. Honestly I think despite him being gay that he loved Mary with everything that he had. I'm sure that there were times that he wished he could be straight and just be with this woman that he loved so deeply. But it didn't matter at the end of it all because despite his sexuality and inability to be with her in a traditional relationship, they were together in heart and in soul. Which is such a rare thing. I think they had an extraordinary bond. They were soulmates which goes beyond sexuality, attraction and any human bullshit. Its a beautiful thing. How lucky they were to find that.

Freddie&Mary it was pure forever love...you can see it in both Mary and Freddie's eyes.I just watched Bohemian Rhapsody...the most romantic scene was when Freddie was looking at Mary's apartment across the street...by calling,switching on/ off the ligts...I truly belive that Freddie loved Mary so much...whenever the situation was,he forgot...life went on,Mary had a family - sad and tragic.I wish Freddie and Mary had a kid maybe he wouldn't have been so self-destructive.

The bond between Freddie and Mary was wonderful. He called her his wife for a reason ♥️ The one woman who captured his heart obviously.

I know people said Freddy was bisexual, both his parents are frowned upon him being gay and tell he died he never really came out to his parents. I think Mary Austin kind of was like a mother to him because when he told her that he like men and she was okay with it he finally felt free. Like somebody accepted it, unlike his real mother. I've seen lots of interviews where they said Mary Austin was like his best friend and mother not so much girlfriend, you just have to look at how the times have changed when 2019 at your gay it's widely accepted, 20, 30 40 years ago no way. So I totally see why he loved this woman so much.
