It's a pity that the quality of video back then cannot reflect those beautiful rooms. I just loved the glazed doors in Straker's bathroom. It's really a masterpiece. Pretty much close to the conservatory's glazed doors. Freddie was not only a genious of music but also a genious of decoration. Just walking around his recent exhibition you could notice that. He had a real good taste. 💝💝

Our Freddie had many gifts...I am glad that he was surrounded by all this beauty during the most difficult times. It's beautiful to listen to him so gentle and pleasant...his energy is extraordinary!

Freddie had exquisite taste. The comments he made about the five toilets in the mews house makes me giggle every time. You can tell he was so incredibly proud of GL and the mews apartments. It’s sad he couldn’t enjoy them longer than he did, but I’m glad he did get to spend another avenue of his creative energy beautifying something he loved as much as his home. Hope there is more to come!

On the contrary, Freddie had a very beautiful house, with beautifully chosen decor. Items from the Garden Lodge were auctioned last year and they are beautiful. Considering that the video is old (and therefore the quality is blurry and dark), you might think it looks like a ghost house 😅
