Freddie seemed quite humble, and caring and unaffected, yet possessed epic talent for entertaining, and dazzling charisma. A very charming person. I love how his ex-wife and he remained best friends, and only his ex-wife knows where Freddie's earthly remains lay. Thanks for making the world less shit Freddie.

Why are so many people judging Freddie Mercury's bad choices in life. He crammed 200 years in his 47 and lived everyday like it was his last. Should any of us be so lucky. He understood to the end the experience of living in the now, the only place a person can truly be happy. He is missed but will live on forever in his music!

None of that matters, period! Freddie was a child of God, just like the rest of us. Freddie did his thing, but he and his bandmates brought a lot of beauty into the world with their music. For all of you folks who claim to be so much into the Bible, don't forget; "Judge not, lest thou be judged!" That's in the Bible too, you know! If you're going to follow the Bible, you'll have to follow it 100%, or not at all! Think about that the next time you want to judge someone!!

+Jinny Workman First of all, don't be calling me out of my name. I don't be calling any of you folks out of your name, so I'm not going to let you call me out of mine! Second of all, whoever you are, I wasn't talking to you, I was responding to the jackass(es) out there who want to use the Bible to justify disrespecting, and belittling people just because they want to be themselves! Now don't get me wrong, everyone has a right to their own opinion, and I will be the first to respect that right, but just as I respect your rights, you will respect mine as well!! I just wish that Freddie was here right now, I would be the first to say that you and Queen were a huge inspiration for me, in me being a musician and in my life! Now back to you, if you took my post as trying to attack your opinion, hey, I'm sorry, but I was not! If you had taken the time out and really read my post, you would have seen that I was not responding to you!

Unfortunately, people like Freddie Mercury that are given this musical gift have very short lifespans. Elvis, Michael Jackson, Jimmy Hendricks, . Their BEST is when on stage. And only come once in a lifetime. As people in social setting their very sad, depressed and in most cases drug addicted. And not fun to be around.

To have to go through knowing the death of my lifelong hero. It is sad, but to think that this man who gave many people a gift of music, of inspiration, of joy to have been taken so quickly from his grand stage. It is sad that the man who gave us so much in life had to pass, but he would be happy knowing that we all still remember and love what he did from openly stating he was a homosexual to fighting AIDS. We will never forget the man who never wanted to live forever. The man who can always rock us and remind us that we are always champions. Thank you Freddie Mercury! R.I.P.

A talent such as Freddie's only comes along once In a lifetime. What an increadable performer he was I never had the opportunity to see Queen live but I have ALWAYS loved their wonderful music. There will NEVER be any one like Freddie again. We have lost a true musical genius I often wonder what he would have done music wise had he had continue to live. I miss his amazing voice and his extrodinary musical talent. Rest In Peace Freddie!

I'm now 51yo. (around 2000) at the age of 35, I had a conversation with my 92yo grand mother. I ask her what it was like to be 92...She said, "Oh..there are plenty of people to talk to now, but I have out lived all of my friends from my "heydays" (you know, when I was 15-21yo) I can tell stories about how things were. And there is no one to correct me on the details. And or to remind me of the back story to my story". At the age of 35, I had lost everyone of my many friends to AIDS. I felt I was far to young to be relating to a beloved 92yo woman on such an intimate level. I realized at age 35 that there was no one to correct the details of my stories and re-share the laughter with.
