Sorry to now answer but then he was 17 years old because he was born in 1992 and this "movie" was released in 2009 so 2009-1992 = 17

Yes there is a year 13 but it usually means collage lol

This is like 11 years late, but we have a year 13 in school. It is taken at a sixthform or collage, which can be independent or attached to a school. In year 12-13 in the UK we study for A-levels or b-tech exams (the more practical ones). These are the exams we take before university. They are commonly taken at 18, without retakes, but like most exams can in theory be taken at any age.
