Yasiin was not "retired". He said "I knew when I stood they would turn on me". He was speaking of Nationalization. Once he went public as Yasiin Bey the world knew he was respecting his Moorish Nationality. The industry turned on him. Jeezy, Killler Mike, Black Thought, Nas and moor have acknowledged Moorish Historical records. But Yasiin is the only one to make a public proclamation out of our known entertainers. ☪ 🇺🇸 🇲🇦 ✌

@@AliAntarAllahsServant Aside from taking my comment literally, I was basically expressing my love and the fact that Madlib and Mos linked up again. And as far as Moors go, the only Moor today that really kicks Moorish Science I highly respect is Aseer The Duke of Tiers, period! Though I respect the name change, Yasiin Bey will always be Mos Def, especially when he drops a track✌🏽

Sweetcherries Justice4All , it means that the rich people and politicians, and people who run the world control the narrative and they are playing the less fortunate. Example, some global leaders are trying to discredit global warming we can clearly see the results ; yet, we continue to re-elect and the poor are suffering from famine and droughts more than ever. Yet, another example is the xenophobic attitude towards immigration that has lead to the issue of a wall around Mexico and Brexit in U.K., the belief that immigration is why the economy is shifting. Who really pays the price is the poor and those looking for a better life.
