I was in Johnny's life 34 yrs. He was not Elvis and would like such comments to cease. The rumors over the years he was Elvis is absurd.

Elvis impersonating an Elvis impersonator that man is a sight to behold one of a kind for sure funny stuff.

Johnny came on scene 1978 as Elvis impersonator, he died in March 2011. In 2011 Bob Joyce came on scene as Pastor Bob Joyce.

OMG......... THIS IS HIS CONFESSION ! I never seen someone struggle as hard as he did to convince everyone he was an “ ELVIS IMPERSONATOR “. He stumbled, mumbled, lost track of the questions ( because he was trying to think like Johnny, NOT Elvis. The last part of the interview was a statement of “ Elvis” as to what “ he “ did, what “ he said”, how he acted, story about the drugs, his body guards,. How he ( ELVIS” ‘ didn’t mean to do what he did . He just has waaaay too much information on too many details to be ANYBODY ELSE........ BUT ELVIS. !!!!!! Johnny was a dear friend. He got me a gig at the Grapevine Opry in Texas. I sang back up for him and the crowd went wild for him. He performed at the Red Bird Mall and people rushed the stage and were fighting for his scarves. We watched from the ceiling and it was amazing to watch him perform. We love and miss you Johnny. RIP

Johnny Harra Was Great and he was just Loved by Elvis Fans because he was Good and True to Elvis he Never let himself Down. RIP Elvis and Johnny. Nope Never will be Forgotten.

I can say that he sounds just like Elvis speaking. I would know that voice anywhere.

I met and talked with Mr. Harrah many times. Very generous and nice person. God bless him. I saw him first live (I think it was for the opening of Red Bird Mall in the Dallas Area? - I could be wrong about the date - I was a little child) and I was fascinated with his voice and charisma. Then many years later I got to meet him and just kind of know him through talking with him. Before he passed, he gave me a few of his cds. What a voice. Again....very kind and generous man. Had the coolest PT Crusier in the neighborhood. His eyes - if you didn't throw on your cynical shades - could certainly brighten the darkest of rooms. He made me feel that glorious feeling of being a child again. Just saying. It was and is a good feeling just knowing I conversed with Johnny. That's probably silly to some, but oh well. I miss running into him around town. He was a regular person sharing joy with regular people.

Only Elvis replied No sir....no mam......

Johnny Presley ....and he's still here...he didn't die.

I knew Johnny, he was not Elvis but he had a great respect for him and let me tell you. He is the closest thing you gonna get voice wise. He was a very good man. My husband used to work as his body guard and I helped make his suits. I would take my Mom to see him and she would get so excited when Johnny would give her a scarf. I am a very big Elvis fan and Johnny was a gift. May he rest in peace. Love you Johnny

Yeah Johnny isn't Elvis but this guy interviewing certainly is. Johnny Harra helped Elvis to keep performing after he faked his death. He would stand in at times as Johnny Harra. This is Elvis thinking it would be fun to do an interview as Harra but problem is he's taken a little to much medication and he doesn't do well in this interview. I love it

i think also, look at his eyes. his teeth/mouth, especially when singing. he sounds/speaks the same way, and coincidal he looks like Elvis on his "last" years. he also looks tired and bit sad in some way, only his nose they altered by plastic surgery. probably to set people off guard

Elvis was an extremely distinct person in the way he looked. Nobody shined the way he did. He had a glow to his skin a redness that was there is certain spots. An ashy look under his eyes at times his eyes had a twinkle with a bit of white . He moved his mouth at a certain speed when he spoke , when he paused , he held his head an angled which were distinct when he listened to a question when he responded how he bent down tilted his face. He was extremely perceptive acting . He used certain words often , he spoke softly or very directly he did almost stutter a good amount. He stopped himself and thought. His face twitched sometimes. His shoulders were often held in a defense type posture. He had a ready stance almost all the time. He wasn’t ever an evasive person. This man truly could be him .

He sounds and his manner is so like Elvis. He talks like Elvis, like he stall`s and stammers sometimes before he speak`s. I watched a video earlier of Elvis talking and watched many videos where Elvis talks and he is so like him. His mouth movements etc etc. His nose is slightly different, buy it`s not hard to get a nose altered cosmetically. This link to one video, around 5.48 onwards is an example of the stutter part in his speech and 10.20 in this video. (other parts of the video`s too). I have been listening to this one more time. He talks about Elvis and his inner circle here. I hear him say: with the drugs they did. The whole group took pills. They lived life hard. They needed uppers and downers to get going. Elvis needed painkillers also, because he had tiny fractures in his spine. Still, he wanted to perform. I think not many people understand how hard Elvis worked. He should have taken a year off. Elvis had another brother. Born in 1946. Vernon gave him up for adoption, they could not afford to have another child. When you see Johnny Harra, he looks very much like Elvis. The man we see here has finer facial features. I believe this is Elvis trying very hard to be Johnny Harra. Well, we all can still enjoy the music of Elvis and the music of Johnny Harra.

What do you know. I just found my ticket stub to visit Graceland in my desk drawer. Still in good shape and visited sometime in the late 1970's. Strange feeling to put my hand on the railing going upstairs to the living area and seeing Graceland. Always was an Elvis fan from about 12 on. I just found Johnny's business card but can't find a way to put a picture of it on here.

did you think he was Elvis at all while talking to him? it looks like a CLEAN and SOBER Elvis to me...and being an impersonator was the closest thing he could be to fame while still blending in and not attracting the mob of fans...truly ingenious...

Okay at 11:45, he does say with the drugs that I did. I slowed down the audio and that's exactly what he said. And it's like he's defending himself as Elvis, he knows way too much about things. Very weird.

I remember seeing Johnny Harra on t.v. shortly after Elvis passed away Johnny had just got done singing an Elvis song a guy in the audience hollered "ELVIS!!! " The shocked look on Johnny Harra's face said it all the look was like " oh! man they Know im really Elvis! " the nose had been altered along with a couple of other things but there is no way that anyone could be that close of a natural voice look and carisma without it being Elvis himself. At Johnny Harra's concerts in the early 80's they had to announce " Johnny has left the building " the exact same way that they did for Elvis because people didnt want to leave the stadiums kind of ironic wouldnt you say??? Even Lisa Marie Presley visited Johnny Harra when she got older now that being said you have to ask yourself why did she do that if that wasnt her dad.

@@AFMMarcelD You don't seem to be aware that Elvis had a brother (not his twin who died) who was brought up in another family because his own was so poor. This boy died on the 15-16th August,77. No-one has ever said it was he in the coffin, but Elvis' life was threatened so many times, he had to go. Make of it what you will, I know the truth.

He sounds just like Elvis talking and he looks like him, you sure that ain’t him.

I feel this us Elvis.. his voice, his lip, and he keeps touching the side if his nose.. as well as him going into detail about certain things then stopping..

Candace Boulin ... He said "with the drugs like that" talking in reference to the people and the entourage who worked around him and with the pressures he had and was going through. Johnny said he could relate and understood why he did what he did with the drugs even though it wasn't good for him or not right.

I live in a very small world. I grew up with older parents with listened to old country and big band music and Elvis Presley. I was 8 years old when Elvis Presley died and it was devastating to hear that news report. To think that the man is/was still alive until 2011 or even now makes me heartbroken that I have never met him. The voice of an angel and such a sweet soul.....I just want to cry. I missed out of a wonderful, talented man who will never grace us again. People are not made like this in this day and age. We had went to Graceland when I was 12 but it was closed d\t all the abuse the estate had sustained. Now it seems like an amusement park but I will venture there some day just to take in a little bit of history. :(

E.P. was a man and a human being just like anyone else. The only difference, he was the KING OF ROCK AND ROLL.

My son got to sing with Johnny Harra at Hippos in Houston. That place has since burned down. But it was great to meet Johnny in person. No he is not Elvis Presley for those who think he is.

Dave Phillips I know the story. Anyway, I`m pretty much convinced that this is Elvis as Johnny Harra. Joe Esposito told at least 3 versions of Elvis`s death. All available on youtube. That alone makes the whole thing stink. Hearing Prascilla say ,, He loves football ´´ when Elvis had supposedly been dead for a couple of years is at least strange. The picture of Elvis behind a door at Graceland after Elvis`s death is another weird thing. The offical explanation for that picture is more than weak. Look it up . I`ve heard Johnny Harra say on american tv that he has several doctors and that at least one of them was Elvis`s doctor too. And that`s not nearly all. Like I said, look it up for a view days and you`ll see there`s a lot of stuff that just doesn`t fit. I wouldn`t say that all this proves that Elvis faked his death but it surely proves that the whole thing stinks in a very strange way.
