This effect called *sidechain.* Typically its connection by the gate on compressor between the base line and kick drum on the track in such way every time kick drum is playing it gating away base for amount of time that kick sample is playing. In this track he sidechained vocal samples with high hats i think

Mate, you keep smashing out these bangers on a regular basis and I massively appreciate it. They sometimes amuse me (your crazy noise shorts mainly) but they always give me full on nostalgia clubbing vibes (I am an ex house/trance DJ/Producer). This song is straight up 10/10. Everything from the sample to the groove, the build up, the drop, the melody, the beat. V, my guy... I mean, all your tracks are bangers, but this one is super hot fire, you spit that, level ohmygoodlord.

I love many of your tracks but this is my favorite so far. I was a hobby producer 10 years ago and i remember how ugly and time consuming it can be to make your own sound design and still keeping focus on your ideas. You have great talent keep it up and never lose yourself over fame or something. Big fan from Germany.

the thing about Vincent, although may be somewhat surprising, is that imho he really really gets what is the core of DnB, almost something that cannot be explained with word, yet he interprets all of his songs in the most pure DnB way that can probably be ever presented, love is the answer therefore?

I think it's down to how it "hooks" you. A lot of music has hooks that play on song structure, fun use of melody, or weird intervals. DnB, and a lot of other electronica, uses texture, percussion, purely synthetic sounds, and wild use of the frequency space to make a "hook". It's also structurally simple music made out of ridiculously complicated sounds, and I can't get enough of it.

True, one of those artists that even when they make different styles or even genres, they immediately hit the core feel. Reminds me of DJ Ephixa, hopped on every 2010-15 Electronic music trend and yet all of it sounded very genuine.
