One of the stations where Trenitalia and Italo high-speed trains arrive, depart and transit are Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana, Bologna Centrale AV Underground and Naples Afragola. The first and third stations have four platforms, of which two external are reserved for the passenger service, while the internal ones for the transit of the various convoys. In the station of the Emilia-Romagna capital, it also has 4 tracks dedicated to high-speed trains for both the ascent and descent of travelers, unlike Reggio Emilia AV and Napoli Afragola. In the station located in the part of the Po Valley of the region, every day you see many trains passing by, arriving, stopping and even passing. They come from Reggio Calabria / Salerno / Taranto / Bari / Naples / Rome to head towards Milan / Turin or vice versa. The trains that do not stop at this station are practically the "non-stop" ones, defined as such for the fast direct connection between the capital of Italy and the Lombard capital having only a maximum of one intermediate stop such as Rome Tiburtina, Bologna Centrale or also Milan Rogoredo.
