I got claustrophobic just watching the video. No way could I ever think of going into something like that. Thank you for showing what it was like for you.

Unlike Fat Mans Squeeze in other part of Shawnee, this is definitely Thin Mans Squeeze! Gave me to fright too.

You went back in there alot farther than I ever thought about going in there. It is a shame that trail does not get visited as much as other trails at Garden of the Gods. I just checked photos and it has been almost 10 years since I have been to that spot.

It's a tight fit for sure! I was amazed it was so overgrown up to the entrance. It is a cool area and I don't think I'll be going in there anytime soon, although it did go back further.

@@MarksofCuriosity The last time we were up on top we were surprised how overgrown everything is up there. The observation trail gets overrun with folks but no one is checking out all the other amazing things there are to see.

@@littljo1 Very true - it’s been a while since I’ve been to the observation trail. Maybe it’s better that way 😉

Great place for a rattlesnake den and yes I have seen them in the area. If you got bitten there, alone...

Is this at the base of the Camel Rock bluffs? I've always wanted to go over there, never have.

This is across the road from the backpackers campground. I did check out the base of the observation trail, but didn’t find any significant shelters to film. I do need to go back in the off season and crawl around and see if there anything cool that I missed.

Hi! This is really just a split in the bluff that has separated over time. It has no value in the sense of widening it to access. It’s a place for some animals, such as cave crickets, salamanders, and occasional bats. Right now the user- made trail has been abandoned and sees little human use. 👍
