Freak accident at UTV Takeover

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Good morning my lovelies,
I’m so sorry this video is a few days late, but we were unable to get it to upload successfully until just now.
What started as an awesome adventure to Oregon to attend my first ever UTV Takeover turned into a bit more of an adventure than I bargained for.
Luckily, my injuries do not yet require surgical intervention and the specialists I saw this weekend are hopeful that my vertebrate will heal sufficiently over the next 6-8 weeks to the point where I can return to my normal activities. We should have confirmation of that in about 3 weeks.
I will do my best to keep you all posted and provide updates on things as they progress but, as you can imagine, I will be scaling back significantly on the number of videos I release during this time.
As I mentioned in the video, my friend Chelsea was nice enough to set up a site where you can donate to help us with medical bills and the required physical therapy that I will need for the remainder of the year.
tinyurl.com/3ed38ptw
In the mean time, please check out the playlists section of MMTV to catch up on any videos that you may have missed and join me as I enjoy watching Rudy and Janelle finish out the remainder of the OnX build challenge and the RADcharger - I’ve seen a few spy shots and you don’t want to miss the next episode!
Cheers and, as always, thank you so much for the love and support while I work to get back on my feet these next few weeks.
-Hol

I was in a construction accident when I was 35 and broke my back. Same symptoms, hot like blood all around, couldn’t breathe. 16 days later, back fused on 2 places and half a body cast for months. Still going strong at 70. Hang in there, it will be ok. I can’t tell you how many people helped me and my family get through it. All the best.

@@MischiefMakerTVI was shot through the center of my heart when I was 8, thrown through the windshield of my red camaro at over 120 mph that my fiancee's dad bought me, he was the owner of the Shreveport times newspaper in lousiana and a pedophile, I caught my fiancee with my best friend and drank for the first time chugging two pint of tequila eating both worms, I ripped the seatbelt out of the frame going through the windshield headon into the ground and hit the ground the car crushing and flipping upside down on top of me, had my license 2 weeks, 16, I lost her, my friends, my job, my car, my school and my dad, not including my back, then when i was 24 i had a carload of kids with their dad pull out in front of me on my motorcycle, laying the bike over, the peg caught and flipped me onto my hands and knees at 60 mph headfirst into their back rim, flipping into the air and i landing on my back onto their trunk, i also have capsylitis in both shoulders from doing concrete and roofing my whole life because I had such a hard time in school from being in a coma when I was 8 and being shot, I have lost everything, including my sons in horrible ways, I have been single since I was 32 taking care of my air force vet mom, who was in a bad nuclear silo accident, I have nothing and now I have bad diabetes, I had only 2 things I loved, my 85 Toyota 4x4 mint, it had no a/c and I can't stand heat anymore from diabetes, and then there was my hymalean siamese who came out of the woods in the middle of nowhere and saved my life, when I was contemplating suicide, she saved me and recently she got cancer in her jaw and died within 2 weeks and she was so healthy and beautiful, she didnt deserve to die so horribly :( , well anyway my mon is getting so bad and she is all I have, I haven't seen much sons since they were babies, except one once and hes 6'8 and amazing, but it broke his heart to see me and my mom suffering so much, and he hasn't contacted me since, I do have a rich dad, I am his only son and he's not married, he contacted me one time in the last 30 years and said everything is mine, but he is wealthy and healthy, and will live to be 110 knowing him, if I make it to 70 being 53 I will be amazed, diabetes is no joke, I recently know a 16 year old who died from diabetes, and the pain I endure is unreal, but I have to for my mom, she was head of comm commander of nasa in florida, a 5 striper, 12 years and a single mom with 3 kids, she was married 10 times, to a bunch of abusive aholes, none of them except Perry were ever a dad to me, my real dad disowned me after I was shot, I get 914$ a month being disabled and that's it, my mom gets 4500$ a month, without her I will not survive, the Bill's are way more than I make, and everyone takes advantage of my mom, and I can't stop it, my mom still looks at me as the disabled kid who went to special schools, so she never listens to me, and she is so nice all these bad people take advantage of her and I have to clean up the mess over and over, we could of bought a property and house by now easy, at least a new car, we have a 2008 kia sorento with over 300 thousand miles we bought new, that's it, the a/c just went out, fixing tomorrow, hopefully, and now the stupid apartment management told us we had bed bugs, and I had to get rid of everything and do all the work and haven't seen a single bedbug, then the bug guy said we didn't have them sorry, so right now I am sitting in a just sprayed 2 bedroom apartment with all furniture gone and everything in boxes or bagged outside, shedding a tear laying on the floor watching your video because you hurt your back, so cheer up it could be way way worse, just make sure to be humble, have faith, take natural stuff for bone health like natural D products, and stay mentally positive and beat this ok, stay humble, it's the key to wisdom, you're eternal and death is an illusion, there is Infinite yous in infinite realities, you look through their eyes when you dream, just keep raising people up with your humbleness and strength ok👍❤ people like me depend on people like you, matt, fab rats, sleeperdude, derek from vgg, to keep us humble and hopeful ok❤👍

Wishing you a speedy recovery Hollie, you've got this! I broke my back in 2007 in a freak accident driving a tug master in the docks in Dublin, and now have lots of metal work holding my L4, L5 and S1 altogether. The docs told me I would be lucky to walk again, but here I am walking and doing all the "normal" things in life. Whatever normal is 😂. One of the best bits of advice I would give everyone is stay positive even when the pain is bad and to accept all the help you can during recovery. Love and blessings.

Oh no Hollie 😢😢😢 You knew something was off from the start. I had a compression fracture in my L3-L4. Almost had a laminectony. I was in a wheelchair for quite some time, a custom lumbar brace and almost 6 months of physiotherapy. I was able to walk again unaided after a year. All that from a wrong landing in a basketball game. My legs were not bent so my back absorbed all the impact. Sending you healing vibes. I was in tears watching because it brought back memories. Your in the best hands, best friends and all the resources most people dont. ❤️💪🏽💪🏽👊🏽🙏

I want to "thumbs up" this video, but not because I am liking that you are hurt, but that you are alive. I am hopeful as well as praying for your recovery, as back injuries take a long time to heal. Last year my wife had spine surgery and replaced the vertebrae at c5 c6, then this year she broke her sacrum on the bunny hill at China peak in CA. All of this has been taking a long time to heal. Don't rush anything, take your time with everything. God bless you on this healing journey.

When I had a serious car collision in 2001, T boned at 50mph, the neck and shoulder pain was soo intense they believed I had broken my neck. A neck brace was placed on me, the drivers door was cut off, i was placed on a spine board and taken to hospital. I sprained my goddamn shoulder! But, the week after, holy crap! I was in so much pain. Now, I commented on your recovery video, but seeing ypur actual accident..... now I know why I have damage to my discs. I completely forgot about that impact, it's direction and 20+ years later I still have issues. No lifting or bending for me now either.

I made a small donation. This is the first time I’ve done so. It is a thank you for the many many hours of pleasure your videos have given me. I’m an 80 year old women disabled by severe osteoarthritis. So I’m not able to do much. KZread helps to fill my days. I fell yesterday. I’m OK, just a little stiff and sore. But I had to call an ambulance to pick me up off the floor. Fortunately, I’m live in Canada (Victoria BC) so I do not have to pay a cent for the paramedics help. So I donated to you part of what I may have had to pay them if we didn’t have such wonderful medical insurance. I hope you heal quickly and completely.

I had to have 2 steel rods implanted in my back along with some nuts, bolts and hooks. This happened in January and by late summer I was water skiing and the following winter I was snow skiing. Emergency Room doctor was surprised I wasn't paralyzed. It takers time to heal. Do what the doctors tell you to do, and don't do anything you're not supposed to do. Prayers for you.

“I’m not allowed to” you shouldn’t do yourself like that, you totally could. You aren’t powerless. You just don’t need to. It would be very unwise for you to do those things. A better way to say it is “It is smarter for me not to…”. Some people would say that it’s the same concept however you word it, but I disagree. Stay positive Holley! Prayers and all the good vibes ❤️

Hollie, as another VERY self reliant female, I feel you VERY well and you need to let others help you as you heal and do NOT push yourself as you WILL only make your healing time longer. Just ask me how i know this..... I wish you the shortest healing time possible and love your work.
