@@whiteknob7944 because, due to the fact that everyone is on the limit, if you wanna pass you just have to cross the limit, and everybody knows what happen just over the crest; you crash. unless the rider in front made a mistake you'gonna stay behind, apart from the straight, or you must blockpass, but its very annoying.

Who else thinks that Marquez went off on purpose after setting fastest lap to cause a yellow? It didn't matter in the end because Fabio Di Giannantonio went off anyway. They should create a rule that if you cause a yellow in practice or qualifying, you lose your fastest lap time. The current rules are open to abuse

Thats actually a very good point however what you are proposing is slightly inapplicable because riders in most cases would like to follow up their best lap and in doing so can make mistakes and go wide. This rule would be a bit harsh and make riders a bit hesitant
