Hypnotique! Envoûtante! Quelle inspiration Mr Bak ! Cette musique est juste géniale et la chanteuse touchée par la grâce. La série est la meilleure que j'ai vue depuis longtemps et la bande son y contribue pour beaucoup. Merci pour ce magnifique voyage. Un grand merci :)

This is an magnificent song, a true art piece. It perfectly reflects the ambition and thirst of power found in humanity and everything with it. Betrayal, lust? It reveals how our confidence makes us different, it's what makes us wretched, and as more as we know, the more ambition we will have and the conquest for our goals won't be as selfish but as paved with unscrupulous casualties. Our mind, our concience, that is when the true killing of empathy, humanity and humility begins; leaving behind the wrath caused by our own hubris.

Love Lennard Brix. Was first annoyed that Mikael Persbrand was not casted. But Lund - great controversy character. Very challenging also Theis. - And realty the set and Team is super.

Nordic Noir grips my heart and soul, unbearable tragedies, sensitively written and acted. This music compliments The Killing superbly in the drama, the emotions of horrendous loss in the cruelest of circumstances. The pain felt through the music and first class acting. The mother and father's overwhelming loss, witnessing this is heartbreaking. The end credits music had me on the edge of my seat emotionally and mentally every time the music begins, it builds up to a crescendo. The waiting for the next episode was unbearable. I am fortunate to own the full series and other Nordic Noir classics. I prefer Scandinavian drama's they are so superior.

Lovely tune, but strikingly similar to the opening of Max Richter's 'On the nature of daylight'...... but then, so is, for instance, Olafur Arnald's 'Tomorrow's Song' (and loads of other songs...). Perhaps these kinds of harmonies are ultimately derived from Barber's Adagio for strings.

This melody is very haunting and beautiful! Is there any other versions of it (besides this and "Choral Theme" from the soundtrack) available somewhere? I know it appeared a lot during season 1 and 2. Loved all those scenes because of this! hehe! :)
