Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons - Sherry Baby [HD] **Lyrics**
Музыка
Lyrics:
Sherry, Sherry baby
Sherry, Sherry baby
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonight
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonight
(Why don't you come out) to my twist party
(Come out) Where the bright moon shines
(Come out) We'll dance the night away
I'm gonna make-a you mi-yi-yi-yine
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonigh
(Come, come, come out tonight)
(Come, come, come out tonight)
You-oo-ooh better ask your mama
Tell her everything is all right
(Why don't you come out) with your red dress on
(Come out) Mmm, you look so fine
(Come out) Move it nice and easy
Girl, you make me lose my mind
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonight
(Come, come, come out tonight)
(Come, come, come out tonight).

My high school sweethearts name was Sherry, we broke up our senior year and I went off to Vietnam. Fifty two years later after both of us lost our spouses we have reconnected. I play this song for her every time we get into the car to go anywhere!

Life is for you to live now and to sing this song for her. Sing your new songs, too!! Let us , then, be up and doing, with a heart for any fate. Best of luck to you, Christoferdrewrocks1 !

Every car ride I went on as a kid my dad would always yell sheeerrryy baaaaby Sherry baby in his high pitch. I would always laugh and copy him. Would kill to hear him do that again. It became my thing to do now. Even though I was born in the 80s I grew up knowing and loving 4 seasons and all the greats from that time.

My dad was almost 40 when they had me in 94, I grew up listening to them too and the temptations, Marvin Gaye, all the great oldies. My dad is luckily still alive but he moved away unfortunately so I don't see him much and when I do, it isn't for long.. I miss him a lot and tell him I wish we'd spend more time together every time I do talk to him but I feel like I was too bad in high school that he kind of washed his hands of me, even tho I've been good for the past 7 years or so, he just doesn't care anymore and it sucks.. I miss growing up and being his little girl and doing things with him. Frankie Valli is on tour and coming to our state in April, I'm going to ask him if he'll go with me but the tickets are $100 each so it's gonna be a hard ask cuz I can't afford both

My grandmother passed away from Covid a month ago. My mom and brother were there with her playing her favorite songs and holding her hand. She took her final breath at the end of this song. Her sister passed away 18 months prior and her name was Aunt Cheri. We like to think it was her welcoming her home. Idk if I can ever fully listen to this song again.

A classic. My favorite song by The Four Seasons.
I'll never forget after we finished the school play my senior year (I was Nicely-Nicely Johnson ^_^), for an after-party we all went to this pizza/karaoke place. This skinny, kinda pale, scraggly dude gets up and he seems to know the guy running things. I see this song come and brace for for the worst and he just NAILED it. Craziest thing I'd ever seen.
Valli had a completely unique voice, one you couldn't put in any category. You usually think of "falsetto" as pretty and feminine, yet even in this incredibly high range he's kick-ass and don't-mess-with-me. He has hardly any break in his voice and is able to drop into his mid-range very smoothly. He also has a dreamy tenor voice, as in "You're just too good to be true". I think this guy's vocal apparatus is more complex than that of the average opera singer.
There have been many valiant efforts to cover this material, but there is just NO-ONE who can even get close to Frankie Valli. I mean, that voice...unreal. I've been in lots of bands, on a lot of stages, in many studios & heard a ton of great singers...Frankie Valli just owns, period.
I love this song 😍😌 it is so relaxing

For some reason this song just makes me think of my now-deceased grandmother. She and my Grandpa would've loved Jersey Boys. She was the cool "hip" mom back in the day when my own mom was little. Even though these songs weren't really my grandparents' generation, they still loved Frankie Valli. I can just picture Grandma singing this in the car.
This is a song from my dad's youth, he used to play it in the car when I was little and try and sing along. Great memories and started my love of 60s music when I was older. So many classics from that time that remind me of my amazing dad.

My mother used to bowl a lot, and she would take me to the bowling alley with her sometimes. I was 8 years old in 1962. This song played frequently on the audio system. It was such a wonderful time spent with my mom...she'd buy me a hot dog and some pop corn at the snack bar, and I'd sit with her while she bowled....she also bowled in a league and she was great....she bowled around 210 to 230 regularly....thanks for the memories.
