His wife should have given the two band members something, greed shows no loyalty

If Eima was any was any kind of a woman she would give them enough money to be comfortable in their old age. She is very selfish.

I agree 👍💯 She sounds extremely selfish, especially considering she never wrote the song and was married to Frankie for about 8 months out of their one (?) year relationship. Very sad indeed.

Very selfish, greedy woman. She should be grateful and be happy to share in the rewards of which she wasn't a part of I believe that she lied when she said that Frankie said he wrote the song. He would have never said that to her. She should be ashamed of herself . Money the root of all evil and she is evil.

Men in general are way more selfish than the average woman. Elma did what any woman who was deprived, used and abused by males. If you a black woman during those terrible times, what would you have done???? 😮

Isn't it odd that you think the black woman should share but the Jewish man should keep 50%

I think Emira is wrong! Just imagine someone wrote a song g but someone else did a tweek and then his wife of six months claimed all the royalties. That is greed! She should have shared it because they were teenagers and friends; also, teenagers are not sensible. She was not around when the original group were singing on the street side. She even joined when the Levy’s to cheat the original writers. Not even 10% , no Emira you are extremely selfish and greedy..

Of course the royalties should go to the group That was obvious..after all they wrote it before the group was famous

Greedy Guts Elmira won 50% which she chose not to share with the 2 remaining band mates in spite of her initial promise. Bully Boy Levy's company retained balance 50%.

What a whirlwind of emotions. I was so upset to find out Frankie died of a drug overdose BUT at his Nanna's house. That's harsh!. Levy had so many minions paid off to say and do what he wanted including the judge presiding over who was Frankie's legal wife. The rightful Royalties belonged to the group. I'm glad his wife won the case but the other two should have won too. I'm very familiar with the The Platters, they were mum's favourite group so their music was often playing on the record player. To find out Zola married Frankie, Jeeeez, I don't believe it though, I don't believe Frankie married the other one either or had a baby that died. The guy who testified on their behalf looked like his life depended on what others told him to say anyway. I reckon Frankie lied to his wife about him writing the song because he was in love with his school teacher, i think that sounded like a nice story to tell Emira the school teacher he was now with. I listen to my you tube stories while I work but this one was a rare 'tools down' and actually watch the video. 100%. 10 out of 10.

Elmira should have gifted the two band members some token amount of money. She just happened to be Frankie's lawful wife, nothing else. She did not, in any way, contribute to the success of the song. Sometimes, inheritance laws are a bit twisted.
