    The sad passing of Frankie Laine left a huge void in the wonderful but now neglected songs of yesteryear. He had a unique style and an incomparable voice. He was a "One off" and is unforgettable.

    My mum used to play all his songs and I grew up with it and now 40 years on I still listen and enjoy and love his music, much to the dismay of my friends and family. 😂

    My dearest late husband George was such a fan of Frankie Lane 😢 ❤ great memories when we saw tjhe great man in Scarborough and Manchester 😅💔🤲🙏 I miss them both so very much 13 years since George pased away ❤ God Bless them ❤

    I saw him in person in Rochester Ny, about 70 yrs ago. Think he was real popular with mule train.he was really popular..

    One of my favorite performers. I guess you could say for almost 70 years. I was a teenager when these were recorded and I never tire of hearing them.

    Frankie ruled the British hit parade (with Guy Mitchell and Johny Ray) during the 1950's and since then, I have remained a fan. Regards from England, December 2020.

    Oh my goodness what a strong and beautiful voice! I had heard his voice before but didn’t know who he was! Nice to put a face with his magnificent voice! I am so thankful to fined him!     I had the absolute pleasure of being a friend of Frankie Laine, and he was a gentleman. He always recognised that his fans had placed him in his position. He helped me with a number of things. I miss him so much.

    I miss him too. Anita Craighead was my mother-in-law and she lived with Frank in the 1990's until she passed away . I always enjoyed talking to him and seeing all of his photos in his home and hearing his stories. Really nice guy.

    My brother in-law was a very dear friend of him John Stewart Marshall he use to go to his house in San Deago I think it was he also went to his funeral I think?

    I listened to his records all the time growing up. Thanks to mom and dad. I played them, myself, too. I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Laine. What an exciting experience to see him perform twice. God bless him.

    Yeah he still had it in 1981 when he would have been about 68. His rendition of Cry of the Wild Goose, though abbreviated, was even better than the orignal.
