Did you know that, I don´t know in which terminal it was, there was a "playground " with a rocket and a ball pit and even a snall slide? When I was a kid my father showed me this airport. It has chanced but thats a memory i wanted to share.

I was here on August 8, 2019, what a DEPRESSING airport!!! The shops were old, and the place was kind of DIM. What did I miss that was beautiful? I was in international terminal flying to Portland, Oregon. BTW, Vancouver B.C. airport that I passed through earlier to get to Frankfurt was STUNNING and BEAUTIFUL!

Hi! Can anyone enter the airport even without flights? Okay for context, I need a safe place where I can stay for a few hours from 11pm to 5am before my train leaves Frankfurt. And I thought an airport should be a good idea. Do they allow bystanders even without flights?

Most main hubs at the airports are open, but the train station is quite large as well and open to the public

How long is far the train station from the airport do i need a taxi to go to the train station?

You can definitely explore the city with 9 hour layover, check online for latest Covid rules as they change all the time

Is easy to travel with the "S-Bahn" (sub.-trains) to the City Center.

Have a layover and need to go through passport control bc going from shengen to non shengen and im terrified that 4 to 3 hrs isn’t enough 😭

In most airports if you want to meet someone you’ll have to leave the transfer side and pass thru checkpoints and immigration again to re-enter
