Frank Zappa Is Timeless🤩

Another incredible piece that Frank composed.

Always liked this song. Remember Dad having the vinyl album back when I was a kid in the 80's. Late 90's, Mum, Dad & sister had a shop and that was called Zoot Allures. Great concert from start to finish.

To continually throughout his career, put these types of this level band. Writing this type this level music. Playing these solos. Yeesh. I watched him thru the decades just amaze audience after audience. Never a second rate player never off nite . From motorhead to ensemble modern. Incredible.

My Zappa-mania started with this album. Never recovered from it.

Yep. Zoot Allures got me, big time. It might be the only Zappa album I own...no, I've got Over-Nite Sensation and a few others.

1969 - 2019: ZAPPA FOREVER , après 50 ans , toujours le même bonheur à l'écouter.

I never missed Frank when he came through. Best shows and the best guitarist I've ever seen.

We miss you Frank....and do we ever need you now. I feel so lucky so have seen Zappa and co at several London Hammersmith Odeon shows in the 70s..

Great. One of Zappas best songs, and especially this solo is one of his best. It stirs me to tears. Zappa rules !!!!!!!!!

First Zappa album I bought in my teens, then I had the chance to see that tour in Paris with Bozzio, o'hearn, Jobson and the man was brilliant as usual...

Saw him live in the 70's. I agree, absolute genius.

I saw him at Duke University in '72, I believe it was.

I got to see Frank 5 times. I remember in 1984 leaving his show and thinking , well he will be back next year or so. He never came back.

I was at this show as a kid with my dad! Listen to Zappa even to this day. Have a original press Zoot allures vinyl too. Fantastic music. Thx for the upload 👍

I was there with my friend we rode up from Brooklyn on a BSA 650 and Norton 750 it was on the pier upper west side HOT summer night and every bit as electrified as this video thank you for posting, it's unreal to see again...

I met him while he was touring with Project Object. I asked him, "After twenty-five years, what was "the life(in music)" like'" He replied with an answer that I had heard from every competent music teacher that I'd ever had. He said, "You work your ass off for eighteen hours a day for those three hours under the lights." Truly, that is what greatness takes.

Zoot Allures comes from the French phrase zut alors. It means “damnit”

Frank loved playing in NYC,he went crazy at the Ritz show.

I saw Frank back in the 70s in St. Paul, Mn. At the civic center. What a show they put on. To this day I still say it was the best concert of my life and no one has ever top it yet. Rest In Peace Frank, you are forever missed and thanks for the memories.

I like how Frank instructed (perhaps even insisted) the audience to sit down and relax. Just listen👂and indulge.

I was lucky enough to see Frank TWICE! Once was at The Olympic in downtown L. A., with my lifelong pal Jerry, and the other time was at Santa Barbara’s Arlington Theatre with a number of people from my FM Rock station. 2 different shows, several years apart - and both KILLER!

We miss you Frank !

The way he would enter these freaky chordal modes, they felt so psychedelic and strange..so exotic, like a little journey.. he was peaking guitar-wise here, IMO , the way he controlled that Strat feedback w his tremolo, he was a master of that..

His voice his voice, oh his voice!!! *hearts*

First time seeing Frank Zappa... 16/17-ish at my local youth centre and all I see is Zoot Allures at a screening of Does Humor Belong in Music at my local.youth centre He starts playing the solo.and I immediately realize I know nothing

I was at every show he played at the pier. Right beside the intrepid. I miss FZ so much, and now Dweezil has stopped touring😢

Music is truly devolving - where is Frank? I am glad I was able to see him on teo occasions, some years apart, different bands. Sigh.....

Zappa at the Paradise in Boston... Mud Shark... Mother's live with Flo and Eddie...Inca Roads like someone mentioned...we could use Frank's satirical wit these days, but being from Cali, he wouldn't have liked the goings on at all
