The sad part is that the trump joke killed it. However, I still enjoy him I wish he was the voice actor in the 2007 movie instead of Hugo Weaving.

You can tell he loves playing the voices of his characters. He’s the only VO who has been consistent throughout nearly every incarnation of Scooby Doo.

Frank Welker seems like such a sweet guy with such a beautifully menacing range, he's such an inspiration for for wanting to do voice over!

The guy's voices are legendary. Megatron is his best among so many others.

It's hilarious how much Welker's normal speaking voice sounds like how he used to voice Ray Stantz as well as Fred from Scooby Doo

A legend. no one else will bring justice to Galvatron and Megatron's voice but Frank Welker.

Is it weird enough for a live action Transformers character to have a child with a G1 Transformers character? I mean here's an example of a live action transformers character and a G1 transformers character having a child or more: Quintessa and Alpha Trion had 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters. Optimus Sun Aria Prime looks like TFP Optimus Prime but with Lavender Hair and tail(his tail is the same material as his hair so don't call him a pony with hands now cause he will go Decepticonic on you and possibly end your life.) And human features and behaviors and purple feathery wings which would confuse people into thinking that TFP Optimus Prime had took Twilight Sparkle's wings and glued them to his back.. but Orion Pax's wings are like feathery as a real life bird's feathery wings. Orion Pax is the nickname of Optimus Sun Aria Prime. But also Orion Pax has magical powers but the magical effect when he uses his magical powers appears purple. Optimus Sun Aria Prime is the 3rd son of Alpha Trion and Quintessa..

What is amazing to me is that Frank's Megatron has slightly changed over the years, those some of his other more deeper voices like Soundwave and his classic Dr Claw (Same voice style but with a vocoder added to Soundwave) is still the same. Wonder if he notices the change or he might not be doing it as he remembers it being.

Also if you watch The Last Knight, Megatron's CGI Face Sculpt and Frank Welker's face are exactly the same, I.e. they based Megatron's face off his own. Watching this clip after watching TLK recently (again) I can see it now better, especially when Welker speaks as Megatron

Frank's voice is one of a handful I know exactly who it is when I hear it. His natural speaking voice makes me envision the animated Ray Stantz over him (yes, I know, Frank voiced Ray)!

I think an accurate description for prime megatrons voice is aggressive-G1-To furious quiet whisper of rage you can even hear it in his voice it only happens when he real mad tho

I feel as if his G1 Megatron voice can be heard in the TFP seasons and I like that. Frank Welker and Peter Cullen are literally my favorite voice actors. Love them and their work.

I’m 19 and I LOVE Transformers but I wish I could feel nostalgic towards G1 like you do. I grew up with TF Prime though and I think that was a great series as well! Btw, your interpretation on goosebumps is hilarious! Thanks for making me smile 😂

I remember when I was young the Megatron voice, due to the vocal effects they used to emphasize it, scared me, and I always have such difficulty processing mentally that that voice came from this human teddy bear, frank Welker is too pure for humanity.

There have been some other good Megatron voices over the years, like the ones from Animated, Beast Wars and Fall of Cybertron. But none can rival the great Frank Welker!

I love this guy. Hurts to see his Megatron isn't the same as it was, but everyone's voice changes with use and time. But loved his performances In everything he's done. You can hear a little of his Megatron at the start of season three when Cyclones finds him in the liquid plasma and he starts going off. "Did I ask for deliverance? DID I!!???"

@@TheBanishedWind I can believe that. I can kind of imitate OG megatron in short spurts, and it isn't easy on the throat. I certainly wouldn't want him to hurt himself trying to do that voice these days.

I still really want Frank Welker to voice Megatron in the live-action Transformers movie reboot like that's going to be his first time and just ignore Transformers The Last Knight like a complete restart.

G1 Megatron will always be my favorite, same as original Starscream

Its so wholesome to see just how much he absolutely loves what he does. The man is basically worshiped and he lives for beinf megatron for the big kid in all of us

Even though Frank has voiced over a lot of characters, I will always think of him as Megatron.

Galvatron voice was Leonard Nimoy(Mr Spock from Star Trek) in The Transformers movie 1986 to the end. But Frank voiced the character in season 3 and 4. He voiced Megatron in season 1 & 2 and first half of the 1986 movie.

His version of Galvatron's voice was a bit more higher pitched.

It’s crazy how he’s gone through so many different variations of the voice. Like G1 compared to Prime compared to The Last Knight is totally different. It’s amazing.

Hugo Weaving and the guy who did Megatron in the Cybertron games are cool, But they can’t top Frank Welker. He is the real Megatron.

Welker can't do his original G1 megs anymore.. it had more rasp to it back in the day, and no, it wasnt mroe vocal processing that did it, it was welker. my favorite iteration of Megs is Transformers Prime by far, because it most closely matches megs voice at its best, which is Transformers the Movie, where Welker gave by far the best acting performance of his entire career

I had no idea Frank Welker’s Megatron voice in Transformers Prime was voiced modulated. I thought it was natural. I even try impersonate his TFP Megatron voice.

Fitting that this video was preceded by a Keebler Elves ad with Frank's voice in it.
