I still have the hospital wristband from my attempt. I still have the scars from hesitation. This is heavy to listen to cause when I try I forget what others would be like without me. This year won't won't easy for me but Frank I will keep coming back to this song. Thank you for your talent.

I loved this song anyway when Frank first broke it out on one of the livestream gigs last year, but then I lost a childhood friend to suicide and it took on a whole other colour. What a beautiful tribute and song this is.

From a Mother of a Daughter who has been on life's edge more than once, this hits a chord. When you performed it at Moseley festive in 2021 it brought tears to me eyes. I love everything you do, but this has a special place in so many peoples hearts, this is defo going to be a hit! good luck to the charity they deserve all the support they can get. RIP Scott!! You will always be loved.

My Mum took her life last year by walking into the sea and drowning herself. This song is so similar it’s mind blowing.I always have been scared she suffered in her final moments but I don’t think she did.She was ready to go, and I’ve gone through the range of emotion from anger, guilt and shame. Now I just miss her so bad sometimes I can’t breathe. She was always smiling though, she took a piece of happiness with her that will never be returned. Thank you for the song, it makes me cry every time but it’s helped me and my family out so much.I am sorry for your loss brother.

I was working last week up in Scotland. I got a message from my friend back in South Africa about Frank's cover. The timing of it all seemed a bit surreal as I was passing over the Firth of Forth. I had this song blasting on the van speakers and tears rolling down my cheeks. Yes, it was for the tragedy of Scott leaving us. But the words hit home for others that I have lost close to me over the years. My ex-girlfriend took her life a few months ago and suddenly the immensity of it all really struck home. This is a beautiful song. It resonates beyond Scott and gives life where it was taken. I miss him too man. Thank you Frank. You really made an impact with this beautiful song.

thanks for this, as I said under the relevant song, Scott may have lost his life but may have saved mine with the song State Hospital, about half of the lyrics applied to my life at one point and the "all is not lost" gave me the strength to rise up against crappy circumstances, so yes, all is not lost

I'm fortunate enough to not have lost someone too close to me yet however this helps me to understand the pain and acceptance my partner and friends have been through with loss and grief. He played this live at LEIV and it hit a new spot. Frank has an incredible way with his voice. The only way to describe it in songs like this is "incredibly emotive"

March 2020, Barrowlands Glasgow just before the first lockdown, was the last time myself and my partner saw Frank live. He performaned a version of Modern Leper and my partner and half of the crowd ugly-cried for the duration. Myself and the other half of the crowd were close. Such an emotional moment. I imagine this song will incite a similar reaction. Beautiful song.

This song is beautiful, just beautiful. It’s amazing that after all these years hearing all sides of you, there’s still more to be told. We’ve taken a look you from innumerable different angles, but never actually seen into your core. This album is an amazing insight, and a perfect reminder that you are human, just like the rest of us. And that’s something I needed to be reminded of, so thank you, for the reminder and the amazing song.

Thank you for being who you are and for this beautiful messages you deliver. See you at your next concert in HH and greetings and cheers to your wonderful, also very talented, wife and the Sleeping Souls. #bemorekind 🖤
