Frank Sinatra sings Basket Case by Green Day (AI Cover)

Музыка

What if Frank Sinatra sang Basket Case by Green? It would probably sound something like this.
The original audio was taken from:
«Basket Case - Green Day (Vintage "Mrs. Maisel" Style Cover) feat. Tatum Langley» by ‪@postmodernjukebox‬ and can be found here: • Basket Case - Green Da...
The AI cover songs would not be possible without the amazing work from the original creators! Please visit their profile and give them all the kudos they deserve.
It was created following the tutorial from ‪@LaceEditing‬ that can be found here • Video
Cover image created with Midjourney using the following prompt:
«Frank Sinatra on a stage with a big band. The camera is focusing on him singing and holding a microphone. Subtle depth of field. Photorealistic image. --ar 16:9 --q 2 --v 5.2»

Original arrangement by @postmodernjukebox can be found here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/moSerKuumri5f9I.html This AI cover basically uses the vocals from Tatum Langley from the link above. The vocals where pitched down an octave and then run through the AI voice model from Frank Sinatra, creating a new vocal track 100% based on the original singing. The track is then combined with the instrumentals with some small editing (reverb, etc) to make it sound whole again.

@@poprat It kind of failed, haha, but not totally! I was sitting on the couch with both my parents, and played this and said "Hey dad, do you recognise this song?". And he listened and he said "No, but it's really good!" And then it played some more and neither of them made a guess or a comment, so I said "Do you know who it is?" and my mom said "That's Sinatra duh, in his younger years." but my dad stayed silent. So I let him read the title on my screen and he said "...Basket Case?" and my mom said it again: "It's Sinatra when he was young, look at the picture. I even gave you an album like that!" lolol 🤣. He didn't seem convinced and said "Yeah... I do have all his songs on albums here and there, but it doesn't ring a bell..." 😂 So I guess it fools superficial listeners, but not lifelong fans ahaha. Then I explained it was AI (and showed my mom the "picture" better lol) so basically it learnt Frank's voice, and then you can make it sing the vocals to any song you know with that voice. My dad said "it's almost indistinguishable from the real deal though!" and I said "Well if you listen closely, you can hear some moments where it feels really weird but I'm also really impressed!" The only thing is that the TV was on as well and I played it on my phone speaker, so to be fair he should have had the chance to hear it better.

I love the way that this style of vocalist jazz is related with Christmas. The reality is that this was the style that was popular when a lot of the famous Christmas songs were written, those songs stuck around as a part of Christmas tradition, and then over time new Christmas albums adopted the older sound to conform to the tradition. I find it funny that some people hate jazz but will sing/humm Christmas standards around the holidays, like that is just jazz about Christmas.

For years I've had a sick thought of what would it sound like if Bob Dylan sang danzigs mother and with modern technology that seems to be possible.

Been the best Frank Sinatra one so far because it doesn't add or take away anything in the song to make it unfunny

Dude you have a brilliant talent! Idk how this video gets more than 13k likes but you have almost 2k subs, upload weekly videos and in 1 month you should have at least 50k subs!

There was a loung jazz band in the 90 with a singer who sounded just like Frank Senatra. That sang covers of Oasis, Iron Maiden and Black Sabeth. They sounded just like this video.

When I was a little kid, my dad would play on his drum set in the basement all the time, and sometimes still does. My favorite song to hear through the floor was Basket Case. I also loved Johnny Test at the time, so much I thought the singer for Green Day was Johnny Test, and I didn't know they were called Green Day, so I just called it "Johnny Test". Sometimes I'll even nod to those days by calling it "Johnny Test" with my dad now. I also fell in love with AI covers very quickly, especially Frank Sinatra's. This is the perfect balance between two of my enjoyment of music's sides. Thank you.
