Damn - this was 1984, way past Frank's heyday and yet he was still kickin' ass! Frank and that gang was really in my parents era and I got them tickets to see him in the early 80s, then I got to see him with my mom in that late 80s. I miss those days so much. Nothing's ever perfect, and I grew up with a clear sense of what's morally and ethically right and fair as opposed to what was wrong. I clearly remember my brothers teasing me because I was always crying ' it's not fair', whenever I saw injustice. My 67yo ass is still outraged by the injustice I am seeing happening now and I would like to say my peace. Shame, damn shame on every single one of you Republicans that has allowed Donald Trump to represent the Republican Party. Shame on you all for allowing him to be a legitimate and viable candidate for people to vote for, after you all saw him throw his VP out to be hung for doing his duty to the Constitution. Shame on you all to continue to support a candidate for President who continues to publicly disrespect every single system of the American government when it doesn't go his way, and then turns around to praise it when it hurts his adversary. It is so glaringly clear that trump is wholly unfit to hold the office of the presidency, and it's up to the leaders in the Republican party to make that call. I can literally hear Nixon screaming up from his grave, 'what the hell is wrong with you guys!' And for the first time, I would agree with him.

I would encourage any of you to rent/buy the CD. It's entitled something like "The making of an album: LA Is My Lady". It goes into detail about how the record was produced, arranged, and conducted with commentaries by Quincy Jones, songwriters the Bergmans, and some of the band members like Ray Brown and Lionel Hampton. 🎺🎶

The name "Mack the Knife" seems to refer to a murderer. Please, can you tell me if it would also mean some other type of social personage? For exemple, in some cases, certain champions are called "killer."

Sinatra sings Mack the knife
This song was once owned by Bobby Darin until this thrilling rendition by Francis and Quincy. As the orchestra builds with each stanza, you know it’s going to reach a crescendo with Francis never missing a beat. Marvelous.
F.A.S , SEMPRE SERÁ O CANTOR DO SÉCULO!!!!!!
" La voz" Quincy Jones, George Benson y una banda de músicos talentosos, no se puede pedir más, enorme interpretación, gracias por el vídeo

Anch'io te lo dico in italiano è pero sono francese .Lo sai che Bobby Darin ( Robert Walden CASSOTTO un pochino italiano anche lui ) a dato la migliora versione di Mack the Knife ? Sinatra lo diceva sempre . Se mi deve rispondere per carita cerchi di farlo in francese .

There are no words that could fully express the greatness of Francis Albert Sinatra. You just need to listen to this and remember, he was and older “Lion in Winter” but still great.
Fantastic.

Love Frank! He's the absolute greatest singer that ever recorded songs PERIOD! However, he was not pleased with this vocal rendition. He went to the studio and did another lyrical version of the vocals where he NAILED it. The musical track is exactly the same!
Quite brilliant. What an arrangement. What a singer. What a performer.
I saw Frank Sinatra in concert he was good cheeckie💜⚡😇😇👄🌩️✨🕯️❄️🌧️💜⚡
Brilliant
Thank you very MUCH! Beautiful song - interesting view! T🙂
Thats what you call . Music❤

Amazing!
I have this vinyl LP I bought not long after it was released in the '80's. I found it in a videotape store (does anyone remember "Blockbuster?" This is good, and it about as good as it gets. 🎺🎶
Soothing Best
Good song I love it
Wow Wow Wow.....pure magic..
