Mir broke nogs arm when he was in never neverland. Not many fighters can still function when they’ve been put on their back. Mir is the king of that trait for sure.

I love Frank Mir. One of my top 3 of all time...

I love how Frank openly says he kicked my ass in one of the fights. That's the different from professional and Tito Ortiz level. It takes a lot to just admit you got smoked. Both fights were good and exciting. Even though they are both older, I would like to see them fight one more time.

How was it lucky? It was definitely an awkward dynamic because Brock was in the dominant position the entire fight, but submission artists are always a threat and it has nothing to do with luck. Brock is lucky there was ref or he would have a way more severe injury than anything Mir walked away with.

You can tell Mir has a huge amount of respect for Brock.

Frank the crank mir what an absolute legend and if he gets hold of a limb it's over for you that's why I call him the crank

TRT Mir vs Brock would be legendary

Mir was saved by the Ref in the first fight.

Ever notice how Brock legit never KO'd anyone? Strongest guy on the roster and yet, he was never able to lay anyone out. He lacked KO technique. Brock was also a flincher. He didn't know how to mentally deal with being on the receiving end of an opponents offense. He wasn't trained to take punches like a real pro fighter. Brock was a novelty item. He was a bully who gained his success in mma by being juiced to the gills. Dana new this and would still let him fight for ppv views and then fine him afterwards. Just ask Mark Hunt.

When Frank said Brock was standing in front of him like ok! It reminded me of a scrap at 17 where I thought I had a big guy whipped I was in front of him and I was over his head before I knew it.

I love how Mir talks like he didn't get absolutely annihilated in the second fight.

Nah, not now… Overeem showed everyone how damaged and vulnerable Brock’s surgically repaired abdomen is.. Now is Mir anywhere near the striker Overeem is? No but it wouldn’t take a world class striker to hit him hard enough where his diverticulitis was fixed..

I watched that fight with Frankie Cain who was an old carny catch wrestler and pro wrestler. Frankie loved that fight as he had used that same technique in the carnies and smoker fights to take on all comers

Frank is a great talker but he is chasing one more big paycheck.Brock's greenness is what lost him the first night once he had a bit of experience he handled Frank easily.
