As wanglydia1 posted, Frank McCourt is a true survivor, which is one of the highest compliments that a human can receive. God bless Frank McCourt. May his legacy live on in his words and teachings.

I have watched the movie & read his book. It is very inspring & moving book and the strength he had when he was suffering the poverty. It is also a poetic book due to the fact that this was beautifully written by Frank. He was truly a real survivor. Thanks for posting!

Frank wrote quite a bit about his mother towards the end of 'Tis. If he were still living, I wish I could hear more about her.. and her relationship with her 4 sons.
