So many people write Django here, but I am a proud fan of the original movie and the immortal couple of Terence Hill and Bud Spencer. And the highly chilling arrival of Terence Hill in the opening scene with this main theme playing is legendary.

@@mariamaggiore9011 This song was used for the 1970 Trinity movie. I think it was was used in Tarantinos version of Django (2012) as well, its been a while since I saw it :)

Grandissimo Annibale, visto la sua performance in the voice senior, dove a vinto. Sempre una bellissima voce. Onestamente, devo dire, che mi ha lasciato con un groppo in gola. Bravissimo Annibale, sei grande. Oltre al film Trinità, di due grandi attori, Bud Spencer e Terence Hill, rimarrete sempre nei nostri cuori.

Il testo è di un inglese, Harold "Lally" Stott, che lavorò in Italia per qualche anno e produsse un gruppo scozzese chiamato "Middle of the Road" noto per alcune canzoncine sceme tipo "Tweedle dee - Tweedle dum" etc. Sfortunatamente Stott morì in Inghilterra dalle parti della nativa Liverpool in un incidente d'auto nel 1977.

The vocalist is Annibale Giannarelli, an Italian-born Australian singer, and I don't know their accent. Here though (kzread.info/dash/bejne/mW2rmNqemMvdodY.html) he seems to say "Tired". Btw Micalizzi wrote only the music. The lyrics were from Lally Stott, an Englishman from Liverpool that had a discreet success in Italy in those years because he was the lyricist of a Scottish group, Middle of the Road. Alas, he died aged 34 in his hometown because of a vehicle accident.

never met any character in old west movie that describes the man in the song perfectly it's always the cool types the serious type id like to see a cool but relaxed laid back lazy cowboy who uses his head in fights and cracks jokes here and there like i always fantasize about him pretending to get shot then the moment the bad guys check on him his hand with his revolver moves and shoots them with his eyes closed.
