Oh…nice, thanks for subscribing, Steve 😀! I use two CC8s from Austrian Audio (activated hipass @ 60 hz) directly into my uad apollo interface. There I use the Neve 88RS channel strip as a preamp, EQ and comp section bypassed. My DAW is Nuendo by Steinberg. Luckily my guitar sounds very balanced so I hardly use any EQ. (Although in this case I deviated from my rule a bit because I wanted a slightly more brilliant, more flamenco-sounding sound, which is why I lowered the lower mids a bit around 400 Hz and activated the hipass at 100 Hz…) What I consider indispensable is the plugin soothe from oeksound to get some resonances under control and a bit of transparent compression with the tla 100a from uaudio. a short reverb on it and you're done….cheers, Thomas
