Big time show after Joshua embarrassed the shit out of himself getting pounded by Usek twice and losing to Ruiz. They just want him filling stadiums again. I bet he doesn’t fight Usek again. Bet they have him cherry pick fights to keep that stadium packed. Like the announcer said “He walked right into it”… hilarious how AJ said winning was most important thing. He will fight fans to fill the arenas and they will avoid Usek at all costs.

He just got humiliated and will most likely never get a title shot because of this loss, given his age. I don't think that was part of his plan. He didn't just say he wanted to fight Fury and Joshua, he said he wanted to be a champion. And if his only real motivation was to make a crap ton of money then I'm glad he got flatlined, but as far as I remember he never said that.

@@solarex8160 You're missing the point lol.. Obviously getting KO'd is never part of anyone's plan, but it's the fight game and every fighter knows it can happen. I wouldn't say he got "Humiliated" either. He made 20m off of that fight alone. If you know Boxing you would know this was going to happen. I'm not sure if you can see my previous comments on other stuff but i LITERALLY called AJ to put on a boxing clinic and finish him, although not in 2rds lol.

Boxing mechanics work different compared with MMA, most people don't realize this, even fighters. They think the only difference between boxing and MMA are the size of the gloves and that you can punch in boxing, however this is wrong. The mechanics are so different that MMA fighters just can't compete at boxing and vice versa. Let's be honest here, if AJ would fight Nganou in UFC, AJ would also be knocked out early. Meaning MMA math doesn't work in boxing and vice versa. In my opinion, Nganou should not continue boxing, he is not built for this, he moves too slow, doesn't have the fight IQ and is passive. In MMA, Nganou is exactly the opposite a true monster with all round strategies from 1 punch KO power to elite wrestling to elite head movement to elite kicking, no one stops Nganou in MMA. Sadly MMA didn't bring him the money bag, so I understand his choice and he actually did the right thing. In the end, they all fight for money, right?

@@circaskater67 im not a hardcore boxing fan, but in the last like 10 years ive been following, theyre all the same. whether it be post, pre, interim or whatever lol. All the pressers have HORRRIBLE/non existent mic's for the press that are asking the questions. its just odd, and all i can think of to explain it, is that they pay the headlining acts so friggin much compared to the rest of the card, that they have to cut any and all production costs that dont include the main broadcast, which is why we get no mics for the media who are asking questions

Am I alone. I am still at a point where I can't believe I have seen Ngannou down. Never was he down.... Also, the first time he actually hit the floor, what changed for him, and what changed for us. I mean I am pretty sure we, and even he were somehow naïve enough something like that couldn't happen to Francis. And you could see it, he wasn't the same anymore. Looked like a bird that lost it's ability to fly. I mean it were his trademarks. Being steady when hit, and throwing sledgehammers. But what is left of the plan, when WE have just been thrown around? It already wasn't the same, Francis life changed that 1 second in there. He in fact would have needed a few months to process it all and make a new plan, including no longer feeling invisible to opponents (look at his smirk before the fight, in all the Times they were eye to eye), but had to go straight back in. Just never having seen him even close to this position. And now it sometimes felt like he was literally thrown around.... And then to think about his fights with Usyk. Just how skilfull are these guys even. I mean for some of them, and in terms of that sentence I am an "mma guy", so no huge discussions please, I don't see why for example Joshua couldn't do MMA. Francis did it all and didn't know ground game until after Miocic 1. And even now very limited. It does show that in heavyweight, it's just different because of how quickly a punch can change a fight. There's less of a "build up". Anyway let's recover from this shock (I still can't believe what I've seen ngl life has changed to a point where no one will ever be truely unbeatable seeing someone like that thrown around, no matter how much we'd like em to). Add to that what we've seen in the past from Joshua his troubles, and you get to that formula pretty quickly. All of us obsessing about his 20 lbs more when all it did was drop him harder. Sorry brothers just a little shocked.

MMA guys are brave enough to try a different sport and do decent at it. When boxers try MMA. You get embarrassed like James Tony... Don't get it twisted son! The moment a boxer tries to transition amd try to be brave FOR ONCE. You'll see a much harder fall than what you saw last night

I think in all our predictions, none of us considered the possibility that Ngannou would forget how to block punches. Was obviously focussing on the wrong thoughts (like the stance-switching BS) and neglected the absolute basics in a critical second.
