So there’s a way to find out that EA copy and pastes their game each year. I am a Saints fan, so naturally, I do Saints franchises. Each year I get the situation that goes along the lines of ‘Rookie Mentorship’ with Cesar Ruiz. Only problem is, I got this situation last year and the year before it because EA copy and pastes their games. Try it for yourself. Even though Cesar Ruiz has been in the league for 3 years now, you will still get a situation that gives him an XP and ratings boost because of a rookie mentorship and the situation will even talk about how they ‘drafted him in the first round this past year.’

Something else in the weekly strategy that I like to do is choose my weekly goals in the same screen where the focus players are I choose goals I know I can complete which when you complete them you get more staff points

Thanks for the video man. Question. I’m thinking about getting the game after years of not playing. Love franchise mode but over the years it has disappointed. I know this sounds like an ambitious project but I absolutely loved how madden 12 did their draft clases. Over 25 present was insane. I liked it so much I was drawn to the imaginary players as i went through 25 years 3-4 times over the years. Thinking about recreating at least 5-10 of the draft classes or compiled the best players of all 25 years into 5?classs How long does it take you to make a draft class. And what level of customization can you have. Can you upload face scans or portraits. Potential. Traits. Etc?

Anyone having issues where your active negotiations are 5/5 right away in week 1 of free agency? Theres also no available data in the targeted screen so feels like a bug. My settings for free agency negotiations are also manual.

Hey c4 I keep running into a problem with cpu changing my roster. I will have a lineman get injured and they will release say a tight end and sign a random lineman, but I have all the options set to manual. Any idea what's going on?

In Madden 22 I has a RE named Trent Nelson who was a monster for me. In a Super Bowl season for us, he has 22.5 sacks, won defensive player of the year, and won Super Bowl MVP after getting 3 sacks and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. That next season his X-factor regressed down to just star. What the fuck Madden

To play franchise mode online or offline, do I need xbox live or any special subscrition other than internet connection? Will just a simple internet connection be enough to connect to the EA Servers and keep content current?

Yea it's already too easy to build a powerhouse, I don't tend to change settings to make it more predictable. I see why people like it though.

You may notice it's regressing the stats but no the dev trait. That's bc DEV TRAIT regression is off and the dev trait isn't going away but the players still regress statwise

A problem I have with franchise mode is when you get into year 2, 3, 4 etc and you want to use a custom draft class, it doesn't let you add the custom draft class until week 2 of the season, and you can't hire or fire scouts after week 1. It's really frustrating.

@@C4KZread Yeah, unless I’m doing it wrong. Going into the prospects menu and clicking the stick doesn’t do anything in week 1, but in week 2 it brings up the menu to add a custom draft class.

I have a question! In madden 23 when you look back on a player stats. Does it show who the player played with from the previous season????

if it's online franchise it's autosave. if its offline franchise there's a button prompt at the bottom of the screen to manually save it

I'm currently week 10 I have most QB's at 100% as I have two regional scouts, scouting QB's. I've got mostly everyone else at 75% or 50%. I don't hate the scouting tbh.

Madden Franchise Mode players deserve better 1. Better Scouting player comparison Example when I’m scouting a QB who does he compare to, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Micheal Vick, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and so on. Same for other positions. 2. Real Coaching staffs, players who retire have the ability to become an offensive or defensive coordinator, then head coach 3. Player Roles such as Franchise QB, Featured Back, Game Manager, Return Specialist, Deep Threat Receiver, Fan Favorite, Draft Bust, The Future, Sack Specialists and so on. 4. New commentary teams. We are tired of hearing the same lines year after year. A fresh voice is needed. 5. Better physics and gameplay. Get rid of the current engine. 6. Better stat tracking in franchise mode. Such as W/L record for starting QB, career 300 and 400 yard passing games, 4 and 5 TD PASS games, career 100-200 yard rushing and receiving yard games, career 3+ sack games, career 15 + tackle games, career 2+ INT games. Franchise Team Records, such as Career Team Record leaders, Franchise leader in pass yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, tds etc. 6. Overall history of all teams W/L records, W/L record vs a specific team especially my overall record vs division rivals 7. New team relocation cities, names, uniforms, and new stadium builds. More customization allowed. 8. Player morale, if a player is unhappy with contract, team performance, have the ability to request a trade, or release. The decisions you make affects your whole team. 9. Better presentation packages. Monday night games should have a different presentation package from a Sunday Night game, and Thursday night game. So different scoreboard designs etc. 10. Commentary that reflects what you do on a weekly and yearly basis. So if I have a QB who through for 300 yards week one, in week 5 commentary should reference things he’s done in past games. If I have a QB who threw for 50 tds in a season, then commentary should reference what he did last season, reflect on winning awards, Super Bowl etc. Past madden commentary do not do this. If my team wins a Superbowl in 2023 then in year 2026 there should be a stat display showing previous SB winning teams, while playing in regular season or playoff games. Commentary referencing that would be great. When breaking a record whether it’s NFL, or a TEAM FRANCHISE RECORD, commentary should reflect that, a stat display should reflect that. On Madden 22 commentary rarely mention that you broke a record nor is there any stat overlay that you can see showing you broke a NFL or Team Record. Madden does not have team records but need to be added. 11. Training Camp/ Position Battles, 12. Post game shows/Interviews/ weekly press conferences and Super Bowl media day 13. Storylines, throughout franchise mode on a year to year basis, for a specific players career. Ex Patrick Mahomes grew up not too far from Dallas. Maybe one day throughout his career he would want to become a DALLAS Cowgirl. Store lines should follow specific things like that. Free agent storylines, Last year playing storylines, contract year, coming back from injury storylines, record watch storylines, big rivalry game storylines and so on. Weekly power rankings would be nice to have in the game. To track how teams are doing on a weekly basis and year to year basis. 14. WE DESERVE SO MUCH MORE IN FRANCHISE MODE. After one season you’re pretty much bored of franchise mode because there’s not much to do in the mode. I would add a bunch more but I know y’all hate reading long paragraphs, and watching long videos but we deserve better. I don’t like SuperStar KO or MUT. MUT definitely need a matchmaking because there’s no way a 79 ovr team should be getting matched up against a 95 + overall team. That’s one thing that forces players to buy packs!! Additions A real like GM mode. So I’m a Gm of a team. The owner would have a list of demands like Win a SB in three years, or sweep a divisional rival, make the playoffs, win a playoff game, have a certain about of players reach the hall of fame, if I’m having a bad year, and I’m drafting top 5 the owner should have a day so on who I DRAFT. Owner should be like “We need a franchise QB” something to that extend, or we need to get a player maker at WR, or we need defensive help. Each decision you make in your franchise you get graded on your ability to be a GM. You should be able to be under contract as well. So if you’re doing good you can get rewarded with a new contract, or if you get fired you can go to another team, but not just any team. A team that will offer you a contract. So be careful of what team you’re picking. If you chose to be an owner then you should have a lot of control, have the ability to hire/fire GM’s. Sign sponsorship deals, tv contracts, and so on.

This is the first year in a long time that I’ve dropped down to all-pro. I was always all-madden but idk man this year is tough lmao. Week 1 of franchise I lost 73-14 against Tennessee with the Giants lmao. Disgusting.

Franchise Mode is the real deal in the new Madden 2023 yeah the fumble and interception ratios are screwed up but since new update I've noticed the smoother gameplay!

Seems like the QB tags do not work at all. Trubisky starts over Pickett, Mariota starts over Ridder, Giants traded for Darnold and started him over Jones. The backups here should all start considering their tags, but no one does.

It’s based on OVR. For a future starter if they’re the same OVR as a bridge player than they will start over them.

I use to play madden mobile for a few yrs now I have a steam deck you said in week 3 u can sigh a focus scout I don’t think that’s true I believe it’s week 8 after the bye when that’s available for your national focus and how do I get the menu of the drafting order after the superbowl

games rigged for jaguars cause i traded top 3 of my best guys all green and they still won't trade burrows to me all 90 and above simulated rest of season guess who goes to the superbowl rodgers and burrows....Burrows won the Superbowl with 3 passing TDs. I was so pissed off that could of been my team!

I just won my first superbowl... Tue cut scene is exactly the frikkin same!!! Disgusting. I sure am glad I only paid £14.99. I would be pissed if I paid £50. There is a tiny graphical improvement. But that's it. Same game. Rip off.

Not gonna lie, unlocking a hidden dev actually hinders you. They get superstar XP if they're hidden dev, so if you unlock a star it screws their xp gain

#1 tip…don’t waste your time. EA yet again put out another half ass game with a buggy and in creative franchise

This franchise is so lackluster. None of the “weekly training” translates onto the field. Unrealistic “scenarios” . Having a conversation “during the week” with a player in full game day gear.
