Renowned Italian chef Francesco Mazzei has been on a mission to find the best ingredients from around the UK to make the perfect three course Italian meal.
For his second course, Mazzei sets out to unearth the very elusive, very expensive, white truffle. The premium ingredient will play a vital role in Mazzei’s signature dish ‒ a mouth-watering beef tagliata.
This indulgent secondi consists of seared beef with marrow and mashed potato piped into hollow bone, with the garlicky, buttery truffle gently shaved on top.
