After a mediocre season in Europe and the United States so far, Shelton is one of those (there are others) who jumped 1.80m and suddenly appears jumping 2.20m. The guy looks like he came energized from another planet.

@@kleid4677 Oh yes, tennis is an elitist sport with a notoriously racist & antisemitic history. Even now, despite much progress, many toxic fans of You-Know-Who come out of the woodwork to engage in implicit & explicit racism towards Shelton, in particular. So, it's important to do what you can to combat the expression of such sentiments.

Very nice player. Has a spark. And space for improvement. Better to watch him than Alcaraz. Carlito looks like a A.I. robot, Shelton looks more like human.

I’m watching the game and to me Francis is playing down… almost like he’s been instructed to allow the other player to win! This is why I can’t take Tennis serious. It just seems like a inside trading scheme I’ve seen Serena do it too. She’ll be the best player on the tour and then somehow a random nobody can beat her.

Physically, this guy is just as much of a freak as Alcaraz. On this form, Djokovic is not guaranteed to beat him...if I were a betting man, I'd take Djokovic in 5, but I wouldn't feel great about it. On this USO run alone, even if Djoko sweeps him in straights, I'd put him in the next-gen big 4: Carlos, Sinner, Rune, and Ben. Post-Djokovic, say, 2-3 years from now, he might be Carlos' closest challenger (having presumably cleaned up his UFE while staying ultra-aggressive). Isner serve with Alcaraz speed & FH and a solid top-20 BH makes for a monster. I don't have to like it, so I'll be rooting against him every match, but I imagine I'd be better off rooting for him -- gonna win a lot more than he loses if he carries over this form. Anyways...IDEMOOOOOOO
