Personally I think France have the toughest time in the tournament. Three players were absent due to various reasons, Boyer being the starter for opposite and both Clevenot and Rossard played an important role in the recent success of French volleyball. People were discouraged by team composition and they were not optimistic about France qualifying into 2020ne Tokyo Olympics. They played 3 out of 4 matches that requires a 5 setter before coming into the finals. They came though, the toughest of times, the best comeback story of all time.

It's amazing that France managed to win the Euro Olympic tourney despite almost all of their players were not available or for some reason could not participate. . Kevin Tillie almost did not play, Boyer couldn't play but Patry stepped up and became the MVP of the tournament.

Can't wait to see Paris 2024 Olympics. Germany and Slovenia are two teams I would like to see or added in the Olympics; too bad only one team will advance. The other international league winners are not that strong in compared to the other tournament qualifications. I wish they will just pick the top 12 teams in the world based on their rankings; that would make the Olympics games even more competitive.

As a musician I can tell that these songs really weren't that bad (specially in the mood of the match) compared to "Titans Volleyball Highlights" videos music. I hate those. Those are unnecessary and many times you can't even hear the commentator and the cheers without turning up the sound. About the "Monster Block and Here Come The Boom" sound effects, I love them. Of course at first those were annoying, but with time I got used to them and after a badass hit/block it can sound specially epic! So in conclusion, I think we can't ask to remove them all, but the music shouldn't be annoying for those who don't like the style, just like me. I understand your feelings.

Germany can put some excitement from this game. Their game was far-off from their pre lims.

Clevenot was not part of this group of players that qualified for tokyo , i dont see him around..i wonder why ?..was he injured or something?.also, Tillie left so many players out for the Olympic Games,thats depth in their program.

Yes, Clevenot was injured. Actually France didn't have their best squad in this qualification tournament, due to injuries and conflict between some of their players.

I think they're tired after competing in both VNL and Olympics (25 matches in total). After they've got that Olympic gold medal, they also kinda lack motivation for this tournament. And maybe the change of the head coach also explain the tragedy as well

Germany didn't put up a fight at all. To lose in 3 sets...that was tragic. They could have done better.

Shervin Izadi consider the amount of time and sacrifies the players give to qualify for the Olympics. Ofc you're upset if you get to the final and didnt even win a set.

@@shervinizadi1533 Because they knew how badly they have screwed it up. It's not easy to train for something that's every volleyball player's dream to play at the Olympics and only to lose in 3 sets. That's heartbreaking. I still believe they could have done better. Slovenia would have put up a fight like they did in the semis against France.

Yes. Like early April last year, before things shut down. And I think before Tokyo 2020 was postponed. But the spots will hold for Tokyo 2020ne.

@@hisokamorow4416 I wouldn't say he is the best hitter. He looks impressive for sure but you can't rely on him during hard times, he gets scared/stress to easily. Patry in my opinion isn't as impressive but he fits better in the group. He kinda care free, and always find a solutions when he can't kill the ball. He doesn't jump as high or hit as hard as boyer but he he's more reliable and it's what matter the most in the end.
