Fran Does The Costumes For Maxwell's Play! | The Nanny
To cheer Fran up, Maxwell offers for her to do the costumes for his new play. C.C. argues that this is a big mistake and suggests that Maxwell is letting his feelings for Fran get in the way of what's best for the play.
From Season 3, Episode 14, 'Fashion Show'. When Fran (Fran Drescher) features in a fashion magazine as a fashion 'don't', Maxwell (Charles Shaughnessy) hires her to design costumes for his play. C.C. thinks that Maxwell has done this because he has feelings for Fran. Guest starring Todd Oldham.

Could you develop please? I don't get all the details, and I'm very curious to. ))) Also, I didn't get the Wesley Snipes reference. I've googled him - he's just a guy not even a drag queen, so how Fran's dress could be his' ? upd: Ok, I found about Wesly Snipes playing a drag queen Wong Foo. But I'm still curious about what easter egg you're talking.

@@annaheart7731 at 3:13 a designer named Tod something comes to say hi to Fran. He's a haute couture designer (in the shows universe) but he's also Fran's cousin she usually calls Toddy. So Fran gets her luxurious clothes thanks to her cousin (maybe for free or at really good price)

I loved this episode, it was so funny. The whole episode Fran is going on about getting help designing the costumes from her "Cousin Toddy", and they never show the costumes themselves, so everyone assumes he's another one of her insane relatives and it'll be a disaster, so when it's revealed two minutes before the end credits that Cousin Toddy is Todd Oldham, it's a genuinely great twist. And the whole beginning of the episode where Mr. Sheffield, pressed for time, convinces Fran to attend an event without coordinating her handbag with her dress causes her to appear in an influential magazine with the caption "Who let her out of the house with that purse?" Is also hilarious.
I love how classy Fran is no matter how many times CC is a bitch to her! She just plays her own game!

well in the episode, mr sheffield gave fran the job to create costumes for his play because he rushed her out the house with a purse that she wanted to switch; and fashion critics put her in the magazines and said they hated her outfit because the purse didn’t match her dress. and CC teased her about it, so fran got her payback by throwing CC a purse that wouldn’t go with her outfit and she got put into the fashion don’t’s category, well fran got the fashion do’s category like she should have.
.. like um, mhmm? Um, mhmm? Um, mhmm? Us! Mm 😒 Hahaha!
isnt this the same actor that played pauly, val's boyfriend'?
