Framing my textiles in a box frame

I show you how I frame my textile art in box frames. I am a textile designer and tutor.
My work starts with breakdown printing onto cotton fabric, I have then bonded and collaged textile transfer paper, hand dyed fabrics, hand printed fabrics onto this background fabric. It is embellished with free-motion embroidery and hand stitch, this would be equivalent to a drawn line on a paining.
I love these box frames as they allow my work to be slightly 3 dimensional, you can see the natural warp of the fabrics and the raised quality of the stitching.

Where do you get the backing card that you tape it on from?
Does anyone know how to frame a vintage textile under glass to make a serving tray so the tray is waterproof?

Hi, I had it made for me by a framer, any picture framer will be able to make one, just ask for a box frame, you can buy them from places like the range but they are not as lovely. Jo
thanks for the video, where did you get your frames from and what type of tape did you use (also where can you buy the hanging fittings. thanks (all new to me)

You can get cheaper versions from a lot of shops like the Range but I have mine made for me, any framer will be able to make one. Jo

Hi, it is quite a complicated technique of screen printing where the ink is on the back of the screen and you pull through a clear thickened liquid and it breaks down the inkjo
